Are you all back to normal life now?

Following on from another thread about how there seems to be a huge gap between how people's lifestyles have moved forward from COVID atm I was wondering how 'normal' others lives are now.

We're still shielding so haven't yet been to shops, restaurants, pubs or anywhere busy. We have however been to a safari park where we didn't have to leave the car, a deserted beach, picnics and bike rides in the countryside over the last two weeks and are going camping in a private field next week, I also had a distanced drink in a friend's garden on Thursday for the first time. We're gradually taking a few steps towards normality but are way behind the majority I expect. So really I'm just wondering what life is like out there for you, are your lives pretty much back to the way they were?

No. Not until my beloved am dram(my most favourite thing in the world) can resume which probably won't be this side of Christmas unless the nonsense that is social distancing is ditched soon.

But I am finally getting a haircut tomorrow so looking forward to that! 🙂

Yes back to normal.

Farmer so day to day life hasn't changed much. Work is just the same.

During height of lockdown we didn't see anyone for 8 weeks. Now we are:
Getting our weekly food delivery
The odd takeaway
Bike rides and walks with kids in the country
Play dates with families that have similar age kids. Mostly outside and one family at a time.
Cleaner back and Nanny back (hurrah!!!)

The only things I'd normally be doing now are:
Eating out
The odd holiday club
More play dates.

I can live happily like this for a long time but appreciate we're incredibly Lucky
