Evening all. Posting here for traffic. I'm looking for the Ordinary retinol 2%. It seems to be sold out everywhere..... Can anyone help??

I did see that one, thanks, but it usually sells for around £8, so that's extortionate...

theordinary.deciem.com/product/rdn-advanced-retinoid-2pct-30ml

Not sure how reputable the website is but some in stock

Have you looked into Bakuchiol serum instead? Works like retinol without the side effects.

mnahmnah · 10/07/2020 21:12

Try The Inkey List retinol instead?

Pomegranatemolasses · 10/07/2020 21:15

I'm substituting the Ordinary Retinol 1% in Squalene, which seems to be doing the trick.

Plural · 10/07/2020 21:17

@H1978 that is the ordinary website!

Whatthefunk · 10/07/2020 21:18

I'm using the 1% now, but not having much effect, so was advised to up the %....

It isn't their website. Its Deciem

I've bought a fair few things from Amazon which have turned out to be fakes!!

doadeer · 10/07/2020 21:24

Have you looked on asos - they sell their stock

TicketToTheWrongFilm · 10/07/2020 21:24

It isn't their website. Its Deciem

Deciem owns The Ordinary.

doadeer · 10/07/2020 21:26

And by the way the Deciem one is the main ordinary website im sure

BobbieDraper · 10/07/2020 21:27

@Whatthefunk

Deciem is The Ordinary. They're the "umbrella".

Havent you noticed that when you look up the ordinary regimens, the site is Deciem which gives you all the info you need. Because that's who makes it.

suze28 · 10/07/2020 21:29

The 2% retinoid is very weak. You're better off trying the 1% retinol by Inkey List which is £9.99.

Whatthefunk · 10/07/2020 21:36

suze28, thanks I'll have a look

I’ve just bought this direct from The Ordinary (DECIEM is the parent company) - still showing as in stock. I’ve not used retinol before so starting with this as it’s pretty weak.

theordinary.deciem.com/product/rdn-granactive-retinoid-2pct-in-squalane-30ml?redir=1

Whatthefunk · 10/07/2020 21:37

Sold out on asos..

OP posts:
BobbieDraper · 10/07/2020 21:38

Who cares if its sold out on ASOS?
Get it from Deciem. That's the official site. Its safe; there is nothing dodgy about it.

Whatthefunk · 10/07/2020 21:39

As far as I can see, Inky list only do a retinol eye cream. It's the serum I'm looking for

Why can't you get this one?

BobbieDraper · 10/07/2020 21:41

www.theinkeylist.com/products/retinol

Windyjuly · 10/07/2020 21:42

Wow what is this stuff!!

Whatthefunk · 10/07/2020 21:46

Sorry I'm new to all this serum malarkey....I'm using the Ordinary 1%, and its not really working for me, is the Inky list 1% above any better?
