5 ft 10 how much do you weigh?

Inspired by the 5 ft 3 thread.
Prior to lockdown I was 10 and a half stone and pretty strict with myself diet wise. I am now 11 stone and more relaxed and can't decide whether to try to loose half a stone or stick with where I am now.

@Hardbackwriter. I'm the same. I really have to starve myself to get to under 11 stone. I don't know how people do it!

Oooh I'm 5'11'' and weigh about 13stone. I've always been around 10 stone 8/9 but then after my first child I settled at 11stone. But now after my twins 2 years ago I'm 13stone. 12/14. Can't seem to shift it. Try not to give it too much headspace

I'm nearly 5.9 and was super skinny most of my life and never put weight on or had to worry about what I ate.

Got a little bigger after children but still a nice 10/12.

Then came the Menopause..

I've just weighed myself after reading this, because in the middle of lock down I know i was nearly 12 stone - the heaviest I've ever been. i have only lost a couple of pounds so still 11.9 ish.
I think I'd feel better if I could stick around the 11 stone mark realistically.

I just looked it up and the healthy BMI range for a 5'10 woman is 9st3 to 12st6, which obviously is a pretty broad range

11.8, ideal weight is 11 stone. I look ill at anything below 10.5. Also very surprised at the number of people who weigh so little at this height.

Well, I’m 5’10” and about 15 stone 🙈 I have been 63kg before up and down over the years. Lockdown has not been kind to me I’m a great cook.

I’m 1.76m, so 5 ft 9.5” and weigh 60kg, which is around 9.5 stone. I’ve been the same weight since I stopped growing (bar pregnancy of course).

This thread shows how much frame and shape can make such a difference. I've got 34G boobs and am 11st 7 at nearly 5ft 10. The lightest I can remember being is about 10st 7 and it was a huge effort. I also have wide hips and shoulders, big feet etc. Frame plays a massive part it what can look slim at different weights/same height

I normally range between 50 and 55kg. Currently breastfeeding baby DC which has made me weigh more towards 50kg.

When younger I was 10st 10 and a size 10-12 but had to exercise a lot and be super careful about what I ate. I'd be happy now at 12 st and a size 14 - at 5' 10" I think that looks good. I'm almost 60 and a mother no point trying to compete with a 30 year old!

I’m same height as you and have also gone up to 11 stone might even be a bit over by now to frightened to go on the scales, I know I’m getting bigger as I now have four boobs!!

I’m going to try and get back down to 10 and a half, because I hate the four boobs!! I I’m not buying bigger clothes.

I’m 5’ 10” and 8 stone 10. I suffer from anxiety though and have a fear of food so there are days where I eat very little. My ‘good’ weight is 9 and a half stone.

I'm 5 ft 11 and about 11 st 10 - I don't mind being this weight as I'm still a size 10-12 because I have a big frame (broad shoulders, broad hips, size 10 feet, massive hands). I look my best at around 11 st 4 though, but up until 12 st 7 I look reasonable.

Sorry nothing of value to contribute except to say I have major height envy .

After losing a stone and being really pleased about how much better/fitter I felt I have put it all back on since lockdown started 😲😥

Too much comfort eating and lack of access to exercise clubs I am a member of. Never mind at least I can get pissed at the local pub instead 😡

Oh god @babbi, being tall is not all it’s cracked up to be. Finding trousers that aren’t ankle swingers, towering above all your friends, having big feet and never being able to find nice shoes....................

5'4" and 12st 7lbs.
Disgusted with myself after seeing a picture taken at the weekend. I look like a fucking barrel.

I'm just over 5'8" and 10st 5lb, Bit chunky atm tbh.

5ft 10. I don't normally weigh myself but I'm 10st 1lb.

Frame size makes a big difference. I'm slim boned. Weight goes on my stomach first, so I have to keep it off.

@babbi I've not enjoyed being tall my whole life! I hate being the height of the average male, always taller than my friends. Feeling big, not cute. I thought of myself as the BFG...i'd love to be petite. The grass is always greener!

I'm amazed too I'm 5'9 and although I'm carrying too much weight at the moment it's nearly impossible to get under 11.5 stone for me, which is a size 10 .

I'm 5'9 and currently just over 12 stone. I've lost about 16lbs since May and ideally want to get down to 10 stone.

As for clothes size, I fit into clothes that are anything between a 10 and a 14 - it really depends on brand! Probably about a 12 as average though.

My happy weight is about 10 stone or just a bit more. I used to sit there comfortably but it's a bit more of an effort these days

@hardbackwriter you look great! I feel a bit cheated that I only ever fitted into a size 8 when I was 9.stone... I am a size 12 now at 10 stone. Maybe I have big wide bones!
