Supermarkets stopping one way systems?

I’ve just been to my local supermarket and they’ve taken away the one way system. There were people walking everywhere, not able to keep 2 metres apart anymore because people are walking both ways down the same aisle. They’ve also stopped the one queue filter system so people are stood at the end of most aisles waiting in queues for the tills.

Are other shops starting to do this? Seems a bit soon to me to be stopping having these measures in place, not sure if I’m just being over cautious still though?

GOOD!
how is being forced to walk through every aisle and come in contact with many people better than just quickly popping down the aisle you need?

God I wish they would take them away here, they are bloody pointless.

Our Morrison’s didn’t have a one way system and the small Tesco in town has taken theirs away. Marks and spencer don’t have a one way system either.

I find it’s quicker to just go to the aisles that you need to go to rather than walking up and down extra aisles passing people.

Hardly anybody followed it anyway near me.

Nobody seemed to acknowledge the one way system in our local supermarket, even with huge no entry and arrow stickers on the floor!

Good

Our local Sainsbury’s didn’t have a one way system. The aisles are nice and wide so they just put 2m markers on the floor.

Everyone kept their distance and no one had to walk miles round the shop when they nipped in for a pint of milk and some cat food.

The local Asda has a one way system, but it doesn’t work as everyone ends up trapped in the far corner of the shop. Last time I went in there it was full of people in masks barging their way around all over the place, getting very close to people and completely ignoring the 1 way system
