I'm so glad you like it, Critter. I think it's a gorgeous song. Her pain is very palpable on the album. I've never looked her up or anything, and I only know that album (hmmm. Project for the summer perhaps 🤔) but I hope she was able to move on

@ThatLibraryMiss correct. And I stand corrected, it was originally 60s. Terry Scott revived the song characters in the 70s for a tv commercial.
