Suggestions for really amazing films for 11 year olds

Looking for suggestions they can watch during the summer holidays but not the usual stuff. I’m thinking about films that they’ll enjoy but will really get them thinking, in an age appropriate way.

When I was babysitting in the past a friend once lent me a film for the kids to watch. It was an animated film called Balto. The 3 kids were absolutely captivated by it and didn't make a single peep during the entire film. It was a bit sad but I could tell that it impacted them.. in a good way, if you see what I mean.
It was released in 1995 so not sure if you'd have to get it on a DVD but my understanding is that it's an overlooked gem.

Also, Megamind, another animation. It's a genuinely funny and heartfelt film. Very very witty, so I think that you'd enjoy it too. This one is on Netflix and Amazon (but not Prime).

The Goonies.

PS: with Megamind, even though I absolutely love it and think it's hilarious, the only thing I wasn't entirely sure I liked was that it conflated 'hero' and 'villain' a little. However, I think that even to an 11 year old it'll be obvious that this is more a case of someone slightly misunderstood - but trying to be good, and will make that distinction. It'll be pretty much obvious from the first 10mins so am not giving away too much. In any case, still a great little film.
