I hate pizza. Just thinking about it makes me feel ill, and when I tell people this in real life they get so confused! Anyone else hate anything everyone seems to like?

Pretty much all fast/junk food. It's not cheap, it's not tasty and I can make better cheaper. I don't understand the fascination

Shhhhh223 · 04/07/2020 14:25

Goats cheese ( tastes like goats smell )

Cadbury’s creme eggs ( pure sugar shite )

Whattheduck · 04/07/2020 14:25

Shellfish
Sushi
Cottage cheese
Pears
Melon
Milk (apart from in coffee)

MrsAvocet · 04/07/2020 14:28

More or less any kind of sauce or dressing. Ketchup, mayo, salad cream, gravy, salad dressing - hate the lot of it. And vinegar is vile. I accept it has a role in some recipes and I do have red and white wine vinegars in the cupboard, but I have to hold my breath whilst I add them. And I won't have "normal" vinegar in the house. Also flavoured crisps, especially prawn cocktail. Just awful. Only ready salted are acceptable.

Deadringer · 04/07/2020 14:29

I don't like fruit, but i particularly dislike berries of any kind. Chicken wings, in fact any chicken that has skin and the meat has to be picked off the bone to eat. Yuck.

Deadringer · 04/07/2020 14:30

oh yes i hate ketchup too.

formerbabe · 04/07/2020 14:30

Strawberries

Mintjulia · 04/07/2020 14:30

Philadelphia.

What on earth is the point? It doesn’t taste of anything at all. If I have 2000 calories a day to eat, I want every one of them to taste fabulous.

LadyMuck111 · 04/07/2020 14:32

@derta I hate beetroot for the same reason. It tastes like earth 🤮

Any seafood. I can only eat tuna out of a tin or fish from the chippy.

FraughtwithGin · 04/07/2020 14:32

Chicken (known in the local vernacular as "dung scratchers")
Steak, cannot abide the smell of raw beef, but oddly happy enough to eat steak tartar
Chocolate
Green beans
Anything out of a packet or a tin (except tinned tuna in olive oil) as it tastes "dead"
Chinese food in general, I try it about once a year, but no, I still don't like it.

SanFrancisco49er · 04/07/2020 14:33

Coffee and Tea
Gin
Blue cheese and goats cheese
Olives
Pears

MitziK · 04/07/2020 14:33

Chocolate.

Biscuits, especially the ones with goopy fillings. Ice cream.

Cupcakes.

And any of those massive 10,000 kcal milkshakes, burgers or fries with all manner of greasy shit piled and poured all over them.

For a fat git, I hate a hell of a lot of the things people seem to expect me to like and eat all the time.

MyPersona · 04/07/2020 14:33

Tomato ketchup, beetroot and coriander I cannot eat. Eggs are problematic, only certain cooking methods and it doesn’t take much to put me off.

clipclop5 · 04/07/2020 14:35

Most sauces, any fish but cod + haddock and most fruits. Also donuts!!

Esspee · 04/07/2020 14:36

Brioche buns. They are disgustingly sweet and artificial.
Why are burgers now served in them everywhere?
Give me a breakfast roll or ciabatta every time!

thismeansnothing · 04/07/2020 14:36

Bananas 🤢
Cheese (unless deep fried or melted on a pizza)
Cheese sauce
Beetroot (tastes of soil)
Olives
Mayonnaise 🤢

MrsJemimaDuck · 04/07/2020 14:36

I actually have nightmares about being forced to eat McDonalds.

EasilyDelighted · 04/07/2020 14:37

Pulled pork, horrible soft texture like baby food.

Risotto - horrible soft texture.

Trifle - horrible soft texture.

Rice pudding - horrible soft texture.

Think there's a theme here. I like pretty well everything else that's been mentioned so far though.

MrsJemimaDuck · 04/07/2020 14:38

@ExtremelyBoldSquirrels

Tuna. Actually, specifically tinned tuna. Tuna sashimi is delicious, but that horrible stuff in a tin is truly disgusting. And it stinks.
Agree. Tinned tuna = cat food.
ToddlerBumpBorderCollie · 04/07/2020 14:39

Steak

KatherineJaneway · 04/07/2020 14:39

Chicken legs and wings. Just no.
Sushi - utterly disgusting. You can't be arsed to cook it, I won't eat it.

Dilatory · 04/07/2020 14:41

Bread.

I don't get it.

trappedsincesundaymorn · 04/07/2020 14:41

Anything from a pig. Not for religious or ethical reasons, just that it all smells so disgusting...especially bacon.

SageRosemary · 04/07/2020 14:42

Curry - once I went to a big birthday party where the choice was chicken curry or vegetable curry, I had some dry rice

Custard (and other milky desserts like semolina, tapioca etc) - provokes a gag reflex

Mushrooms - but I'll happily just pick them out and leave them at the side

1000mangoesinabirthdaycake · 04/07/2020 14:48

Quite a few things, but the one people seem shocked at is crème brûlée. 🤮
