What's your worst flavour crisps? I thought I liked most flavours to one degree or another, but a while ago I had McCoys Thai Sweet Chicken which I really didn't like - unfortunately over time I forgot just how horrible they are and had a packet for lunch today ... they are just toxic 🤢

Sour cream 🤮🤮🤮

JoleneExotic · 29/06/2020 17:24

Also cucumber flavour lays - got them in Beijing. Vile.

kohlkat · 29/06/2020 17:26

Oh yeah sour cream is pretty bad.

Yuck!! Cucumber crisps Shock

Crystal87 · 29/06/2020 17:26

The worst was one I had years ago. I can't remember the brand for definite but I think it might have been Seabrooks. Buttered jacket potato. My god they were repulsive.

Violetroselily · 29/06/2020 17:30

Oh god OP I had forgotten about those. I need to buy some immediately (and McCoy's Sizzling King Prawn - also amazing)

Worst flavours for me:
Sour cream and chive
Roast chicken

Any weird ones like marmite, ketchup etc

WutheringShites86 · 29/06/2020 17:30

@Crystal87 Seabrook went through a phase of doing some wacky, inedible flavours. I remember being given a free sample of Sweetcorn flavoured 🤮. Only time I met a crisp I didn't like I think!

vampirethriller · 29/06/2020 17:31

I love crisps, all flavours, but a couple of Xmas ago I tried gin and tonic and they were a disgrace.

30daysoflight · 29/06/2020 17:34

I am a crisp fiend but Seabrook pickled onion flavour is the worst ever. So strong it made my eyes water.
Apart from those I will eat just about any flavour except wotsits.

Boireannachlaidir · 29/06/2020 17:35

Usually any horrible "seasonal" "limited edition" flavour like those ghastly Prosecco & peppercorn monstrosities they push out at Christmas.

And anything made by Walkers. Ugh.

iklboo · 29/06/2020 17:41

Worcester sauce flavour. I love crisps. I love Worcester sauce. But not in combination.

Chicchicchicchiclana · 29/06/2020 17:41

Anything beefy.

iklboo · 29/06/2020 17:43

On the other hand we had mushroom flavour crisps in Bulgaria last year and they were gorgeous. We can't get them over here - gutted.

JellyfishandShells · 29/06/2020 17:44

BBQ anything flavour (it’s the smoked paprika taste - like plain paprika but have weird ick reaction to smoked )

Mrsjayy · 29/06/2020 17:45

I did try a prosecco crisp at Christmas not pleasant and I didn't understand the point.

Grumpbum123 · 29/06/2020 17:45

Prawn cocktail yet I like skips!

Sounds very interesting - very umami, I should think
iklboo · 29/06/2020 17:46

@JellyfishandShells - they were so tasty. They got DS into eating actual mushrooms Grin.

Lulu1919 · 29/06/2020 17:47

Anything cheesy ...ugh and the smell 🤭

jellybe · 29/06/2020 17:48

Prawn cocktail. So gross.

Mrsjayy · 29/06/2020 17:49

I like skips but I don't. Like prawn cocktail crisps

blardiblabla · 29/06/2020 17:49

Scampi fries 🤮

custardbear · 29/06/2020 18:21

Cucumber 😱 and gin 🤭 two of my worst flavours , I can't believe they do crisps in those flavours!! 🤢😪

Walkers chili con carne crisps. I love chili I love crisps, it sounded like a match made in heaven.

They've managed to achieve something really quite special with them. You know when you boil mince completely on it's own without frying it first, and you get that grey, fatty, dirty-dishwater coloured, mince-flavoured liquid. Well, they taste of that. It's very clever, you wouldn't think you could get something as dry as a crisp to taste of liquid.

Mysterian · 29/06/2020 19:31

Curry, Marmite, and Salt & Vinegar.
