My partner has turned yellow and I am scared

Over the last couple of weeks his skin and eye whites have turned yellow, he also has dark urine which has not improved despite upping his fluid intake by at least an extra 2 litres a day, he is more tired than usual too. I don't want to scare myself witless and Google. He has called the GP and is having blood tests tonight.

Hi Op, I didn't withdraw my message because I had said something nasty, I just hadn't read the thread properly. You sound like a very strong lady and I hope for the best for your husband

finished31 · 25/07/2020 23:34

If he's in Queen Elizabeth Birmingham then they have an amazing team.

Glad he's starting to feel better.

okiedokieme · 25/07/2020 23:57

My friend had identical symptoms , it was infection not a tumour but drs wouldn't accept the possibility at first so he went private for diagnosis. 12 months on steroids if I remember correctly. Do mention the possibility because surgery. Hope is a good thing

What a great team you are. I think about you both often and send up a little silent plea for positive news for you both.

Hi, so good to hear that your partner has some relief from the symptoms and the hospital are working well to get to the bottom of things and give him some relief. You are both in my thoughts and hoping you have a good week this week x
