Seems ages since we had one of these.

Anyone up for another?

ElizabethMainwaring · 09/07/2020 09:37

Not been so awful to my first boyfriend.
Given more thought to my future career.
Spent more time with my mom.
Been more careful about who my friends were.

What's your favourite book? And why?

Boomclaps · 09/07/2020 10:27

A book I read when I was a teenager, a good fifteen years ago, it was called “girl missing, and running for her life” by Sophie Mackenzie.
I was a proper bookwormy kid, but hadn’t read anything all the way through high school and had gone off Books because they “weren’t cool”.
this one made me LOVE reading again. And I’ve saved it for when DD is a bit bigger. It’s a shit book now, but it will always be my favourite for making me love reading again.

Do you have any pets, if so what? If not would you like any?

ElizabethMainwaring · 09/07/2020 10:29

Secret Diary of Adrian Mole.
Do funny and reminds my of the 80s.
I read it first when I was 12 and reread it every year at Christmas. I wish I had met Sue to thank her.

Which year/decade in your life were you most happy and why?

BillywigSting · 09/07/2020 11:47

This decade (though not this year for obvious reasons) because I finally got my shit together and started building a life I enjoy and can be proud of.

Worst film you've ever sat through?

Boomclaps · 09/07/2020 11:48
  1. I met DP, and we had lots of fun, we were financially secure and life was finally fun and easy, before he got poorly. Or this year, he’s finally better after several horrific years & we are shortly expecting DC1 😌

Boomclaps · 09/07/2020 11:49

Whoops spots-
I took D neice to the hunger games and fell asleep so I’ll say that one, or one called “never been kissed” that used to be 50p in blockbuster (I can see why)
