Missing boy in Belfast

Terrible story. He got hit by a car whilst out on his bike. Appears to have had a head injury, removed all his clothes and then gone missing since Sunday. Gosh this is awful. Just looked online and see there is a huge community search ongoing.

Oh no that's awful.

He didnt get hit by a car he was seen falling from his bike then later discarded his clothes and was seen cycling naked, he then discarded his bike and hasn't been seen since. His clothes, shoes and bike have been recovered but his coat and back pack containing a laptop and book havent been recovered. Missing since sunday evening

I've been following. I'm praying he's found safe. 🙏

I've just seen they've found more of his belongings.

I've been following this online, praying he is found safe and sound. His mother must be in a right state. Not really the same thing, but I know an adult who wandered off a MH health unit and they were searching intensely for him for days, in the end he was found fairly close to the hospital, I really hope the boy is just disorientated and will be found soon. It's hard to believe there are so few leads.

He didn't get hit by a car. He was seen falling off his bike and then got back on it. He was later seen removing his clothing and leaving on foot. His bike etc have been found.
This story is heartbreaking because it's so close to home for me. Can't get him out of my head.

I hope he's found soon, with a bit of luck just disorientated chilling out in someone's outbuilding.

Sorry I must have picked up the bit about the car incorrectly. I keep thinking of him. I’ve a son the same age.

I couldnt begin to imagine what his poor mother is going through, i cannot get him out of my head..keep hoping to read an update thats hes been found and hes ok...

This is such a hard and sad story. I really hope he is found safe and well soon.

There have been hundreds of people out in the streets searching for him all day and night, people are desperately trying to help in any way possible.

I know, it's not looking too hopeful, but stranger things have happened. Lots of outbuildings are quite full of good right now, so you never know, though the discovery of his bag/laptop is worrying. That poor woman 😢

They have just found his body..so so sad. God bless his family, poor we mite..

Absolutely gutted, so sad for his mum.

It's absolutely tragic. I hope his family have lots of love and support around them.

Devastating

Devastating news. I was praying last night that he’d be found alive. His poor family. I can’t understand why no one who saw him cycling naked didn’t realise there was a pro and ring 101 at the time or even just intervene. Belfast is still a place where people do generally do that. God love his poor family.
