Missing boy in Belfast

Terrible story. He got hit by a car whilst out on his bike. Appears to have had a head injury, removed all his clothes and then gone missing since Sunday. His parents must be going through sheer hell 😭 www.belfasttelegraph.co.uk/opinion/news-analysis/the-longer-the-search-for-noah-goes-on-the-worse-it-gets-but-hope-remains-39316760.html

This is just so tragic, his poor poor family.

Marianneconnell · 27/06/2020 14:09

RIP. What on earth happened to this child?

Badmemorieshouse · 27/06/2020 14:11

How old was he? How sad ☹️

Rebelwithallthecause · 27/06/2020 14:12

Oh I am so sad to hear this

I read the news yesterday and was so hoping they’d find him

What a terrible accident and ending for him and his family

Crystal87 · 27/06/2020 14:12

I've been following this and was hopeful he would be found safe and well. Such a sad end to what seemed a lovely young boy. My thoughts are with his mum.

redwoodmazza · 27/06/2020 14:12

Haven't they now found a body....
So sad.

Eve · 27/06/2020 14:12

That’s so upsetting, poor poor family.

He was 14 I think.

Valambtine · 27/06/2020 14:22

@Marianneconnell
From the info I read which I haven't confirmed elsewhere, he was seen to fall if his bike and bump his head (he was in a helmet) but was seen to get back on the bike. He then discarded his clothes some 15 min later and was seen cycling naked, then discarded bike. It seems likely he sustained a serious head injury in his fall, poor little note, and became confused.

It's such a dreadful tragedy. I was so hoping he would be found ok. A friend's son fell off his bike and got a head injury - despite helmet - and severe concussion recently; he completely lost his memory and was just saying the same things over and over. Fortunately he was with his brother and after an overnight in hospital is now at home recovering. I will never forget this boy, it's really got to me.

Poor lad. Rest in peace, Noah, heres hoping his last hours were free of pain and suffering and that his family are being supported as well as possible. How sad Sad

Hollyhobbi · 27/06/2020 14:30

He was only 14. Seems he was found in a storm drain which they couldn't search earlier because of high tides. The whole of Belfast was searching for him. There were even people who travelled up from Co. Monaghan to help in the search. His poor mother and family and his school friends. Just devastating.

YaWeeSkitter · 27/06/2020 14:36

What a sad sad end to this. Ive been following this since day 1 . Bewildering why he was in the area and in those streets at all. Usually would have been well away from his normal routes.
I was hoping against hope that there would be a better outcome for him. His poor Mammy.

DioneTheDiabolist · 27/06/2020 15:42

His school is in North Belfast, he had friends from that side of the city. But it's has very strange and violently sectarian parts.

So, so sad.Sad

Louise91417 · 27/06/2020 16:04

The rumour mill is apparently going into overdrive with "theories"..people really have no respect. Last thing this family need is to have to deal with that shit!

Louise91417 · 27/06/2020 17:42
