I have a new mattress, sheets and 2 sets of drawers coming from IKEA tomorrow

I've just booked someone to come and lay me a 25 sq m patio. Booked in for the 20 July. I can't wait.

Tomorrow? Tomorrow?! I tried to order a desk, some toy storage and a sofa from Ikea today and was told their next available delivery date was 18th August!

Yes Tea I've got bags of stuff in 4 different neighbours freezers. Masses of veg in the fridge I'm hoping to re-freeze when the new one comes on Monday.

Please stay at home is what caused the deletion, too much discussion and we got pulled as a TAAT.

Well, that's because there's many, many deranged twats over there which is a shame because it started so well. Anyway, mustn't get a 2nd TAAT deleted, would be very bad form indeed. Is it bad that I feel proud (and a bit astonished) that we've only just had our first thread deleted #teamAD

Re: councils ours is in a hole anyway, bins only collected every four weeks, recycling could go fortnightly. Private firm collect garden waste, social housing run by a private company. Do not know where else they can cut back unless they sell some offices off and who needs those now.

I ordered 3 weeks ago. But that's over 7 weeks - that's ridiculous - unless they make the sofas to order.

And I only got the drawers because I wasn't paying £40 delivery for one item. I've got room but I don't really need them. I'm sure I'll find something to put in them.

No - it was a new thread that was deleted - the old one is still around. I think the title was a bit intriguing too so people were coming to see what it was about I suspect

Well our heatwave didn’t last long did it
Already quitE cool this evening unless last night

Had a lovely evening in dd garden, they get about 3 hours more sun than us.
Came home the long way past the beach.
I swear down I think 50 per cent of townsfolk have just woken up and realised they live near a beach
I’ve never seen it like this ..evEr, it’s great
I hope it never stops, most people were walking, or queuing for ice creams and fish and chips about 8 pm
Kids playing on the playpark.
Just need to get the crazy golf Open now and the chap who brings his pizza open and we’re all done
Oh and the amusement arcades...they must be chomping at the bit
I couldn’t see if the beach bar was still serving but my dd had seen loads of people sat on the grass nearby..and yes there were still a few there.

I hope all the teens hold a few parties in the dunes..especially the leavers who lost out on their proms This year

There’s been some lovely photos of the dolphins off the coast..hopefully I’ll get to see them
Maybe we need to check on the tides and see if any mackerel are coming to the shore
For now I’ll have to make do with someone Else’s photo
