Started a new one.

Need to adhere to guidelines this time though.

@TheGreatWave

Ooh driving you've reminded me I've got a wispa in the fridge. Is 9.12am too early?

What scandal is this? Chocolate in a fridge? Chocolate does not belong in a fridge.

Forget crowds at beaches this is the kind of thing that makes me need to go and lie down in a darkened room.

I would usually agree, but my Revels were a melted mess when DH got them home from the shop yesterday, so they had to have a blast in the fridge!
TheGreatWave · 26/06/2020 10:59

I will allow chocolate in the fridge on very very hot days. That is the only time it is just about acceptable.

Chocolate should be served from the fridge - I used to gnaw it straight from the freezer until I broke my front tooth.

I wouldn't usually, but it's too hot to leave it out. I hurt my teeth biting the bloody thing actually!
InsaneInTheViralMembrane · 26/06/2020 11:04

iaintdead I too live a very simple life, but even so feel constrained. It’s fucking miserable and I’m sick of people wanting to further curtail our liberties because people will SADLY die.

Despite the gripes, I do realise how privileged I am - as are my children. There’s a little boy lives on the corner, he’s not been doing well academically, his dad drinks (and I suspect is violent) and I’ve noticed the “church” has been popping in daily (thank goodness we’re a village, not an anonymous city). But heaven forbid someone dies.

mightbealittlebitmad · 26/06/2020 11:04

@TrustTheGeneGenie You're right, apologies. I shall immediately board up my windows and get rid of the TV and internet. We shall only be allowed to do virtuous hobbies like knitting and reading. All of our food must be home grown and I must homeschool every day and most importantly we must never leave the house.

PickAChew · 26/06/2020 11:31

I bet more people on that beach have 3rd degree sunburn than caught the coronavirus, yesterday.

littlbrowndog · 26/06/2020 11:39

I love revels. Can’t risk them as the toffee one took out a filling

And there’s no dentists any more cos just in case.

My hair looks like hagrid.

Grr grumpy today

FrugiFan · 26/06/2020 11:42

Chocolate has to be in the fridge in this weather. I left a bread roll out after a BBQ yesterday and it literally turned to toast!

I love a mars bar frozen and thinly sliced. Mmmm

I must step away from the Dementor in Chief.

And now those people will sadly die of skin cancer.
torydeathdrug · 26/06/2020 11:56

@IAintentDead me too ... we have very simple lives, there's loads of things we can't do because of ds & from the outside things look much the same for us. But the bastards have taken away the few thing we can do and that feel so unfair. The wankers don't give a shit about people like ds.

BarkandCheese · 26/06/2020 11:59

I’ve got a Poundland fake toblerone in my fridge. I’m dead classy.

Bollss · 26/06/2020 12:01

"And now those people will sadly die of skin cancer*

Nobody will care about that!

SockYarn · 26/06/2020 12:03

No, no. Deaths from skin cancer are not "sadly died". That ONLY EVER applies to Covid.

countrygirl99 · 26/06/2020 12:05

sockyarn stripes and feet?

InsaneInTheViralMembrane · 26/06/2020 12:07

barkandcheese yeh... toblerone in the fridge is gambling on dentistry! Brave woman.

Oh dear, did I fall into a whatabouttery trap?

SockYarn · 26/06/2020 12:08

that's the one, @countrygirl99.

Willitneverend · 26/06/2020 12:12

I have, like a good citizen, been reading the test and protect leaflet.

Pic 1 seems self explanatory but why is there a baby in the desk in picture?

And can anyone interpret picture 3? So many questions- why does one guy have a tree growing out his head? Why does the guy in his house have a birthmark, is it there for inclusive reasons or does it have a significance? Why are people pointing at him, it seems very rude?

I'm keep starting to feel sorry for her she seems so miserable. Then I remember DHs aunt who could put a downer on anything. Sunny day - the garden will suffer. Lovely meal - a moment on the lips, a lifetime on the hips. Wedding - it's all downhill from here once they've caught you that's it. A baby - you'll never get your figure back or sleep properly again.

Willitneverend · 26/06/2020 12:13

Better photo.

Skin cancer, like lung cancer, obesity related illnesses and anything caused by substance abuse aren’t sadly deaths because you brought it on yourself with reckless behaviour.

In fact if some people could sort covid deaths into sadly and deserved it they probably would. Caught it in the queue for primark? Deserved it. Went out for paper while recklessly being over seventy? Deserved it. Ate crisps on a bench? Deserved it, also don’t you know crisps make you fat and being fat makes you ill so double deserved it. Spotted an injured baby bird on your path and bravely set foot outside the front door for the first time in sixteen weeks to save it, then just as you were picking it up an evil runner came past and exhaled in your direction? Sadly death.

InsaneInTheViralMembrane · 26/06/2020 12:16

The pointing is because the receptionist has THE MARK OF COVID! The villagers will be building a pyre.

PickAChew · 26/06/2020 12:17

DH has just received the imperial college letter, inviting him for The Swab. I'm amazed it wasn't delivered by an owl.

I’d put that one down as ‘when your time is up it really is’ Shock
