Some trousers (£18) and a dress (£21) from ASOS. Only wanted the trousers originally as my current loose black casual trousers are getting a bit see through and bobbly, but spotted the dress and fell in love with it.

And just before that I ordered a floor fan (£38 ish) from Dunelm as it's going to be hot next week!

Expensive day for me.

Utterly boring but a scotch pie, egg mayo and salad filled roll, cupcake and chocolate truffle from the bakery yesterday. The total cost was around £4.

The last non-food item was some acrylic paint pens to paint some stones for the back garden, they cost £15 from Amazon.

A set of Maison Margiella Replicas perfume samples at 34.99 - a direct result of lurking on the Perfumistas thread yesterday.

I should stay off those threads, they cost me a fortune.

Pipandmum · 21/06/2020 16:45

Well technically a Tesco food shop, but other than that I splurged €65 on a pair of Messyweekend sunglasses - the closest match to the sunglasses Glenn Close wears in Damages (through their own website - it's a Danish company).

simonisnotme · 21/06/2020 16:47

109 yards of 1mm braided cord for blinds.

I'm using it for my fused glass suncatchers that I make and sell and as each one uses about 6” I've got enough for a while yet.

forestsmurf · 21/06/2020 17:01

New wardrobe for DD1 as her little one is going to expectant DC3. From argos online in the sale cost about £95 with delivery.

laurelhedge · 21/06/2020 17:01

Plants. It's the only nice thing at the moment, to laze around in the garden looking at the flowers and the blackbirds nesting in my jasmine.

QuestionableMouse · 21/06/2020 17:01

Best way pool repair kit in preparation for this week’s heatwave. Cat made a few tiny holes in the inflatable ring with his claws- little bastard!

LadyPrigsbottom · 21/06/2020 17:09

I have just bought some Christmas presents for my children and my niece! I've spent a few hundred quid today and I haven't even left my sofa BlushConfused.

I don't normally go nuts at Christmas; quite the opposite. But I just feel like doing it this year, as it's just been such a weird year and life feels awfully short. I have some money set aside for it, so I've just gone for it.

NoMoreFlowers · 21/06/2020 17:10

Some Duracell batteries for the cat flap

mynameisntlouise · 21/06/2020 17:29

I was perusing Aldi's special buys as I get a phone notification when new ones are available for preorder.

I ordered a water and sand play table for my 2 year old, it was £29.99 and then it told me I needed to spend a further 00.01p for free delivery, or it would be £2.49.

I scoured the special buys for the cheapest thing to add to my basket but you can't filter search on the Aldi app and everything was sold out. I didn't want to buy something MORE than £2.49 as then I'd be spending more money than the original product and postage. I finally found a posh hand soap for £2.49 and qualified for free postage. SoI'm seeing it as I got a free handsoap.
