An online order last night of some overpriced clothes from New Look for my 12 year old, came to just under £80. She chose them herself, normally I'd say they were too expensive, but her mental health is really bad at the moment. I would normally take her to Primark, but I'm not ready to go back to the high street just yet.

Two kilos of bread flour and a Sunday paper from the local shop.

rottiemum88 · 21/06/2020 14:54

Board books for DS, ordered online. He has mountains of toys, but ignores them all in favour of being read to at the moment and I'm so sick of all his books I needed something new to read for my own sanity Grin

I ordered some fabric face masks yesterday. They were a bit unnecessary because I already have several but the fabric design was lovely.

happypotamus · 21/06/2020 15:08

Forgot to answer all the questions. They were £4.99 each from mabel and mu, which I have seen recommended on a few MN threads about face masks.

Yesterday a box of (5 or 6?) highly-rated gluten free Cornish pasties to be couriered from Cornwall. About 30 quid BlushConfused.

DS is desperate to be able to have a pasty again. So we are taste testing everything available, at lavish expense.

Rockbird · 21/06/2020 15:14

These. Totally obsessed with them at the moment.

A loaf of bread and 4 pints of milk from the co-op - living the high life Grin

CoronaIsComing · 21/06/2020 15:34

Actually ventured into the city on Friday, bought:
New bras & pants for DD from M&S £86
Cerave cleanser for DD £8.99
2 x Seasalt Breton tops from John Lewis, a bargain at £15!!!
Lunch and coffee from Pret £6.99

forgetthehousework · 21/06/2020 15:52

Wildbird food and some solar powered fairy lights from Wilko (bit of an impulse buy there). DH got the stuff he needed to reseal the doorframe.

We were going to go to B&Q but the queue was halfway across the carpark. Wilkos queue was only four or five people and I bet the stuff was cheaper there too.

frankie001 · 21/06/2020 15:56

Coffee following a 3 hour dog walk. The stinky dog rolled in fox poo, so needed energy to bathe him. And he’d just been to the groomers! Photo of him post groomers, he’s a wet rat now!!

CatFaceCats · 21/06/2020 15:59

Bottle of brockmans gin and a 4 pack of fentimans orange tonic. Ordered on Friday and arrived today!

CormoranStrike · 21/06/2020 16:02

Velcro, £3.99

Aposterhasnoname · 21/06/2020 16:03

A £3.50 blind, a microwave lid, cot mattress and a cuddly elephant from Ikea. Had a great day baby shopping with DD and as an added plus the only shop with a queue to get in was ikea, and they let us straight to the front, courtesy of DDs pregnancy bump.

GracieLane · 21/06/2020 16:04

Groceries. It's always groceries.

Katinski · 21/06/2020 16:15

Dim memory of Physics lessons that Water + Electricity is a Very Bad Thing,so bought a new non-leaking electric kettle and it's BRILLIANT!
It was bundled with a toaster, for 25.00(I think). Didn't have a toaster before, so bye-bye to burn marks on my wrists cos I don't need to use the grill in my oven now #gettingfatontoastwithlashingsofbutter.

Prettybubblesintheair · 21/06/2020 16:16

I’ve just bought colour wow dream filter and colour wow coconut cocktail, I’ve got the dream coat and love it. Being delivered Tuesday, can’t wait!

Elliemayclampett · 21/06/2020 16:20

A bag of frozen chips and a tub of fizzy cherry cola bottles from the Tesco express garage. £2.40 for the chips, £1 for the cola bottles

SpeedofaSloth · 21/06/2020 16:20

Wine from Iceland (shop not country).

spiderlight · 21/06/2020 16:25

Some solar lights to go into a beautiful purple gin bottle that's too pretty to just put in the recycling. £12.99 for six sets - will clearly have to drink more gin to generate five more bottles!

nettytree · 21/06/2020 16:26

New knickers. Only from asda, but needed. Can't wait to be able to pop to Cardiff to do un essential shopping.

StickersandStripes · 21/06/2020 16:27
