So send out a CV for a job and I've been offered a job interview on Monday. I've never had a job just a stay at home mum. Fingers crossed I get it 😊 wish me luck.

Went pretty well I think. They've had more than normal amount of applicants he thinks due to covid. It's me against 20 people 😊 will hear back on Wednesday or Thursday. I started out saying um alot but kicked myself and stopped by the end.

OH has always been the breadwinner it's a point of pride for him really.

As the days go on I've convinced myself I acted like a babbling idiot 🙈 trying to make my peace with not getting it. 🤣

NoRoom even if you don't get this one, you did really well to get an interview, and you were quite pleased with how you'd done immediately afterwards, so try not to fret about it now. Good luck, I'm hoping to hear good news in a day or two!

Best of luck NoRoom, really hope you get it! But if not even doing the interview is good experience, bring everything you've leaned to the next interview. Honestly they get easier the more you do!

I'm job hunting at the moment, I've not had a "proper job" since my youngest was born - he's going to secondary school in September! I've had a couple of small jobs since but nothing to write home about.

Heard nothing today so I think that answers that 😂 aw well it was nice to try. Literally no other jobs going atm.

Don't assume the worst just yet OP. Aa lot of the time it takes longer to make a decision than planned, especially if there's a few people involved or they need a particular person to sign off. It's never a done deal until you know for sure.

Leave it an extra day it 2 then call them, the last job I got they were late letting me know. It's not over yet.

Hopefully you will get it and if they ring to say no ask them to bear you in mind for anything else or ask if there is anything you can do to be more successful next time. They may think of you if you sound keen and positive.
