I am completely and utterly exhausted. All I want to do is sleep. Anyone else?

Itisbetter · 11/06/2020 15:25

Yes

Gunpowder · 11/06/2020 15:27

Yep!

Tlollj · 11/06/2020 15:27

I’m knackered. Go to sleep ok but keep waking up at bloody 5am. Doesn’t seem to matter what time I go to bed either. Can’t turn my brain off.

RedskyAtnight · 11/06/2020 15:28

Yes. I think it's (at least partly) the lack of variety in the day and anything to look forward to.

TweezerMay · 11/06/2020 15:34

Oh god yes. Every day is such a slog and I can never get enough sleep. I could fall asleep standing up. I’m taking iron and vitamin D but they don’t seem to be having an effect on anything yet.

HairyFloppins · 11/06/2020 15:38

Yes!. Every day is the same.

We have had new recliner sofas delivered today as well and not one of us has moved in hours.

onemouseplace · 11/06/2020 15:39

Yes. I just can't shake the general feeling of lethargy at the moment.

Stackers382 · 11/06/2020 15:41

Yeh I feel dreadful. DS is back to school and I go back to work in 2 weeks. I’m so lethargic and lazy.

itsgettingweird · 11/06/2020 15:51

Yep! But I have a kidney infection so that's what making me feel even more dreadful currently.

My WFH has been shorter hours these past few days. Figured as weather forecast for weekend is crap I'll catch up then!

moreofthegreenstuff · 11/06/2020 15:53

Yes.

formerbabe · 11/06/2020 15:56

Im exhausted...I sleep for about 10 hours a night though.

Carycy · 11/06/2020 15:56

Am exhausted. Am either at work (part time nhs) or am with three kids under 7. There is always one up by 5am and one won’t go to sleep till after 9. I feel so weary and depressed.

CaMePlaitPas · 11/06/2020 16:00

Yep. I am wondering whether I have an iron deficency.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 11/06/2020 16:01

Yes - but in my case it is because of chronic insomnia (one of the gifts depression has given me - thanks SO much), which has worsened during this crisis.

Even before this, I rarely got to sleep before 2 or 2.30am most nights, but it got worse in lockdown - 3.30 - 4am wasn’t unusual - and I even got my GP to give me a week’s worth of sleeping tablets, in the hopes of getting me back into a more sensible sleep pattern. It didn’t work - I didn’t even really sleep better on the tablets.

I am going to try CBD oil (the legal stuff - from Holland and Barrett) as I have been told this will help me sleep. If it doesn’t work, I don’t know what I will do - I can’t even remember what it feels like to go to bed and go straight to sleep, and I feel so atrocious every day, because I am so stunned with fatigue, that I can achieve next to nothing. It is even making my eyesight blurry.

Doingtheboxerbeat · 11/06/2020 16:02

Yes and I think mine is down to depression, I'm sleeping my life away. So glad it's not just me, it lessons the guilt somewhat.

Monsterjam · 11/06/2020 16:02

Oh yes, I’m working as a nurse 3 or 4 12hrs a week then have my kids the rest of time whilst hubby works. It’s non stop and I want to sleep and not be needed for a little while .

LoseLooseLucy · 11/06/2020 16:03

Yes. A constant tiredness I can't shake.

Monsterjam · 11/06/2020 16:03

Oh I’m so tired my post didn’t make sense.
3 or 4 12 hr shifts a week x

devildeepbluesea · 11/06/2020 16:03

I've felt like this for the past week or so, I think it's a combination of lockdown fatigue, horrible muggy weather and really high grass pollen!

mynameiscalypso · 11/06/2020 16:03

Yes. A mix of reasons here (baby, insomnia, side effect of meds) but I could just sleep for hours. Except I can't for the reasons already stated. My DS is in the phase of constantly moving and just watching him exhausts me.

APurpleSquirrel · 11/06/2020 16:14

Yes. Wfh with two under 6 is so exhausting. Then I compound that by staying up late to just have some down time, but then struggle to get to sleep. Often wake with nose bleeds in the night, if not one of the children too then it all starts again.

ProfInkly · 11/06/2020 16:33

Yes. When my daughter's nursery reopens I will be taking a day off work just to sleep and laze in front of netflix.

thenewaveragebear1983 · 11/06/2020 17:41

Yep. Knackered. And bored. So fucking bored.

FaceOfASpink · 11/06/2020 17:43

Yes. So tired. Strange dreams. Can't sleep and very cold to my bones.

Elouera · 11/06/2020 17:43

Have you been check for a deficiency like anaemia or thyroid issues OP? Or are just tired all the time?
