I am completely and utterly exhausted. All I want to do is sleep. Anyone else?

@Elouera my GP did a raft of tests earlier this year - think they were the tired middle aged woman tests. All clear!

I've given up drinking, was getting through way too much wine and I hope that will make a difference.

I've noticed my mood at the moment goes up and down hugely depending on the weather

I am always like this! Don't know what it would be like to have 8 hours sleep or even 4! Luckily no babies or kids to deal with. I am a slave to my bladder . Up at least every two hours. Get bored of it!

Yep. Still working 28hours a week, DH just had major surgery so he can’t lift anything which makes him all but useless around the house. DS is just learning to walk and climbs everything so it takes a lot to tire him out. The house is a mess and to top it all off I am currently enjoying the longest bout of insomnia I have ever had. I’m absolutely exhausted.

Yep. I cannot be fucked to do anything either.

@SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius- if you want to try CBD oil you can get much stronger products online for not much more money. I've been using this www.thecbdcenter.co.uk/love-cbd---800mg-cbd-entourage-oil-spray-126-p.asp for months for chronic insomnia and it has definitely helped massively. I sleep much more deeply now and wake feeling refreshed, even if I haven't slept for that many hours. It takes a while to build up in your system though so you may not get immediate results. Deffo worth the money to not be feeling like a zombie all day.

The Holland and Barrett stuff is ok and better than nothing, but is much weaker and not great value for money compared to the stuff you can get elsewhere. This is according to DH, who introduced me to the above and is an old hand at this after using it for chronic pain and anxiety for years (and trying a lot of brands!)

I feel very tired. I’m only working twenty hours a week, but I’m waking early most mornings.

I wonder if the change of weather has had something to do with it, and waking up not to sun streaming in the windows but to drizzle and overcast mornings.

I live alone, am going to work as usual but nothing too arduous. But last night (yesterday was a day off), i went to bed at 8.30 and woke up at 8 this morning. I'm a bit stressed because the dog is a bit poorly, but nothing too dreadful so I can't blame depression or isolation or anything.

So I'm blaming the weather. I'm British, it's what we do.

Yes!!!

SunshineSusan14 · 12/06/2020 13:21

Yes to the point where I thought it was a physical health issue because I'm not doing anything, barely exercising, not going out and running around far far less than normal than pre lockdown life but I feel so much tireder!

Admittedly last night I had a poor nights sleep and was up from about 4:30am but even when I've slept well I still feel drained by afternoon.

SecularPanic · 12/06/2020 13:48

Yes. Knackered and lethargic. Couldn't finish an online yoga session earlier.
