Buses that go under the sea
Haberdashery shops
The moon is so friendly
Rainbow too
And I love scarf lady and bag.
How do I get there? Grin

I would love to, but today is Tuesday...

Do you have a serial garden with all its pieces?

mogloveseggs · 09/06/2020 22:54

No Sad
I don't have an opera singing neighbour either but I don't think that is a bad thing

I would love to go inside the strawberry souffle. Or get the bus-replacement-train to the big shop...

mogloveseggs · 09/06/2020 23:00

Ooh yes! Or to the cloud tower on a hot day

While I like the idea, all the sentient food concerns me

QueenOfCatan · 09/06/2020 23:02

It's all about the winter walrus and John's House here. I need the speedometer for my house. And that awesome dance machine!

Desertserges · 09/06/2020 23:03

I must admit I would adore to have my daily life narrated by Roger Allam.

AppropriateAdult · 09/06/2020 23:04

Does it come with the soothing tones of Roger Allam included?

BrandyandBabycham · 09/06/2020 23:06

Aww that takes me back. DD used to love Sarah & Duck. So gentle & calming.

Fred56 · 09/06/2020 23:07

Only if Roger Allam can narrate my life 😁

Fred56 · 09/06/2020 23:08

Love Sarah and Duck we set up the game activity in our garden definitely for the children 😁

LivingDeadGirlUK · 09/06/2020 23:10

I do have an opera singing neighbour but luckily my cake doesn't talk.

mogloveseggs · 09/06/2020 23:11

Yes definitely includes Roger Allam

My umbrella does have a tendencie to fuck off on adventures without me too...

mogloveseggs · 09/06/2020 23:12

Ds is nearly 9. We still watch it Blush

drspouse · 09/06/2020 23:31

My DS is 8 and we watch it.
I do have one niggle, they "adopt" a manatee. My (adopted) DCs were confused by this.

drspouse · 09/06/2020 23:32

I also wonder if you can play "Endeavour or Sarah and Duck" with random phrases.

Funnyface1 · 09/06/2020 23:43

Some of it is brilliant but some just wouldn't translate well to real life. I mean plate girl? That would get weird fast. Love flamingo and John though. And bread man Smile

lottiegarbanzo · 09/06/2020 23:47

Oh yes please. I'd love to go to the big shop and the art gallery and have moon, Scarf Lady and umbrella as friends.

itsallgitsandshiggles · 10/06/2020 00:08

I know the illustrator :)

She will love this thread.

My 12-year-old and 8-year-old sons adore Sarah & Duck still. We watch it as comfort viewing. What a beautifully quirky world they have created.
Roger Allam's narration is wonderful. His voice epitomises the word 'mellifluous'.
Is he supposed to be Sarah's dad, do you think? If not, where are her parents?

Celledora · 10/06/2020 00:45

And the lost and found umbrella bus!

MummBraTheEverLeaking · 10/06/2020 01:41

During lockdown DD's allegiances have changed from binging on Duggee to Sarah and Duck instead. It's just so lovely and whimsical! I love the song rainbow sings when he's in the night Grin

Not soon after she started asking us for an umbrella 😊

Littlebearcat · 10/06/2020 01:47

Yes I will come for sure! I want a quiet Birthday with some choco pain( shokopan) and a visit to the arcade for a dance off. Then hone for some lemon water and hat making with scarf lady 🧣
