I went to bed at 10 thinking I'd get an 'early' night but woke up two hours ago wide awake and hungry.

Can’t sleep without DH! Sad

DioneTheDiabolist · 09/06/2020 02:38

I know loads of people, have a toddler and ASD teen, am trained and learned of human emotions, so people just stopped calling me 20 minutes ago and I've poured myself some gin.

IncyWincyGrownUp · 09/06/2020 02:40

Household noises, restless legs, busy brain.

Going to have another go at sleep soon.

Best of luck with it for anyone else struggling too.

I remember those days...down to the all night supermarket in pjs under a coat, pulling up the drive with a sleeping toddler and they wake up as soon as the handbrake goes on. I hope he's asleep soon.

Twin 1 (who is usually the better sleeper) is refusing to go back to sleep after her feed. So I’m patting her bottom and singing lullabies.
@ChocolateLoverMum hope your daughter’s better very soon

Woke up feeling really horny but DH is snoring like a warthog , sorry if that’s TMI. Blush

WinWinnieTheWay · 09/06/2020 03:16

I woke up for a wee, then was thirsty and now I've got an itchy bite only ankle.

TaighNamGastaOrt · 09/06/2020 03:21

Anxiety. As usual. My step daughter is going through changes and anxious. She can't sleep so I'm worrying about her. Her mum's boyfriend keeps going into her bedroom at her mum's house when he's drunk. He's also yelling at her when hungover and other things. She's really worried just now, so we had a chat and she's asleep finally.
I now can't sleep for worrying and thinking of how we can help her.
Hope everyone else gets some sleep

Head just too full due to work. I have got up, written lists and planned when I can get through the tasks...done a sudoku...still can't get back to sleep... need to be up in just over 2 hours. This is the second night in a row 🙁

WhitbyGoth · 09/06/2020 03:44

Because as soon as daylight appears my 8 year old starts singing away just like the birds outside. I am laid in bed listening to him chatter away to himself!

Sirzy · 09/06/2020 03:52

Because Ds overnight feed finished at 3.30am so having disconnected him from that I am now wide awake.

Hellhath · 09/06/2020 04:00

DH is snoring, I've woken him twice to go sleep on the sofa but he just mutters, turns over and starts again; the dog is glued to me (as always) and is hot, and the dawn chorus has started. I've been wide awake since 2am
