I went to bed at 10 thinking I'd get an 'early' night but woke up two hours ago wide awake and hungry.

15MO decided to have one of those nights

I got made redundant today
Kind of expected it
Not sure if that's what I'm awake for as my sleep is shit these days anyway
I'll drop off in an hour or so

I’ve been told tonight that my Mum is reaching end of life (but we don’t know how long) after what was probably COVID several weeks ago (couldn’t rest at the time). She’s only in her mid 70s.

I had a busy and exhausting day at work so went to bed at 8pm, woke at 3.30 and am up for the day now.

Fibromyalgia, menopause and restless legs often keep me awake. X

I was told today I'm having a c section at 37 weeks on Thursday, had a shot of steroids and I can't sleep! Went to bed at 10:30/ still awake at 12:30, must have fell asleep until 2am and I'm wide awake now. I'm going to struggle tomorrow, promised to do lots of activities with my 5 year old as we only have a few more days of just us!

@TiptoeStar
So very sorry x
I have been up for hours with my 6 yr old who is having a bad seizure night due to a rare epilepsy syndrome.
It is a regular occurrence and mumsnet really comes into its own at times like this and keeps me sane !
Hope some are sleeping now !

Well this is definitely tmi but I took two Dulcolax at around 9pm last night and they work but ouch, my poor stomach.

Bluebellbike · 09/06/2020 05:13

I'm in hospital and the ward is too bright and noisy for sleep.

WWYD00 · 09/06/2020 05:14

My baby stsrted to stir so I've picked him up to give him some hugs back to sleep. Now he is six months old and "independent" he doesn't really want mummy hugs when he is awake any more so I take what I can when I can. I ought to put him back down now though.
