Not too junkie but really hits the spot.

Chocolate hazelnut diary free milk poured over a very large bowl of delicious indulgent, nutty muesli mixed with instant soften Bircher oats.

The oats soak up the chocolate milk whilst the nuts add some biscuity crunch. And the chocolate hazelnut milk is precisely sublime as it sounds.

Absolutely bloody delicious. I would take this over any other treat food.

And yours tonight?

Nice
Melted?
Dark or milk?

Stuff now so just sipping a liquorice tea. Feeling a little bit sheepish about the quantity but I find morning runs plus a shed load of muesli the night before tend to be really... springy and energetic (or sluggish and still full so can go either way!)

Controversial choice, but i'm partial to a plate of sliced apple and mature cheddar of an evening.

Ooh that is a bloody lovely one.

As a student I was partial to a wedge of cheddar wrapped in a slice of ham. Straight from the fridge to avoid any unnecessary washing up Grin

I roll salami into a slice of cheese, yum!

elephantoverthehill · 08/06/2020 20:57

Cheese goes very well with apples, ginger cake, fruit cake, pickled onions and gherkins. Can you tell I like cheese?

elephantoverthehill · 08/06/2020 20:58

Not all at the same time Grin

* Not all at the same time *

Except when pregnant
And basically no food combo was ruled out as hitting the spot.

I've taken to a post dinner kahlua coffee (with fresh cream) I know it's not a snack but based on the calories I'm consuming I'm counting it as one

howdidigettobe50something · 08/06/2020 21:38

Greek yogurt , berries and granola... Another breakfast favourite that doubles up as an evening treat too!

howdidigettobe50something · 08/06/2020 21:39

... Oh and it has to be full fat too! Don't get me started on 0% Yogurt! 🙄

OculusThrift · 08/06/2020 21:41

Apple and peanut butter is particularly nice. Annoyed I've not got any apples now as could really go for apple and cheese.

BMWL · 08/06/2020 21:42

I like rice cakes with peanut butter
Or recently I have been loving the really big oranges cut into thin slices (makes them easy to eat)

howdidigettobe50something · 08/06/2020 22:00

I agree with the rice Cakes and peanut butter... My daughter puts jam on the top too!

UnicornRainbow83 · 08/06/2020 22:10

Toast and banana Smile

elephantoverthehill · 08/06/2020 22:25

There is of course the peanut butter up the groove in celery. Smile

ExpletiveDelighted · 08/06/2020 22:26

I'm with Elephant. Any cheese so long as it's strong and tasty, crackers and cheese, bread and cheese, cheese and pickles, cheese and cucumber, cheese and salami or ham. Cheese and fruit cake.

Celery with pate.

Rice cakes with peanut butter is also good suggestion, even nicer topped with a slice of avocado.

Redcliff · 08/06/2020 22:27

Currently eating macoys mucho chips (sour cream and onion) with salsa dip - so good.

winterisstillcoming · 08/06/2020 22:30

Mmmmm all of these sound amazing.

It's hummus scooped up with kettle chips for me.

elephantoverthehill · 08/06/2020 22:33

Expletive try obs very strong cheddar with ginger cake, you won't be disappointed.

Eckhart · 08/06/2020 22:35

Mine's a dark Ryvita with tahini and strawberry jam. Or 12.

Eckhart · 08/06/2020 22:37

@elephantoverthehill That groove's for Philadelphia!
