I feel awful being unkind about someone else. But I think fod is spoilt and abit dumb. He is like a big kid who needs to be told he's amazing. I bet he always has to be center of attention or he sulks. I see he had turned the comments off. Why even bother? It's ok not to put s black square. So why wind people up further. The whole trend is stupid. It's way more than a black square and a hashtag.

Although the likes of my grandad protected black people in the war. He ended up with a penpal that he remained in touch with. Not everyone is a racist and ignorant. You won't ever change people sadly. Especially smug people like fod.

How are they managing to keep this out of the papers? Even the article linked at the beginning of the thread seems to have disappeared. MOD was in every paper/magazine going.
They really need to address it, it'll all come out eventually. She had the cheek to talk about mod on her stories when that all happened. Fashionmumblr (Josie) also removed her account after some tweets were dug up but she has now reinstated it with a well worded apology and leaving comments open for engagement. I think she has handled it well.

I note Esther Coren has not posted. Her husband has been accused of racism. I've always like her content though.

GC referenced that in his ST column this weekend.... “Things to go in lockdown”. One of them was “make unfounded accusations of racism on Twitter against a celebrity”.

I do like Esther but she often takes long breaks.

They started talking in these strange children's TV presenter voices suddenly and talking about different things.

But I didn't realise there was this much to train out of personality wise.

I really don’t think she could have been happy - she was so horrible about EVERYONE. I stopped following her a while ago as she just seemed so snidey and that she looked down on her followers. It stopped being fun. I just can’t believe they are hiding though, who ever advised that cowardly action was a bloody idiot. It’s going to be even worse when they have to face the music.

Verrill always seemed to think very well of herself, considering all she's really done is partnered with a fairly rich bloke and flogged a bit of expensive shit.

Yes, it's strange I think the constant cover up from Gleam is going to tarnish their reputation even more.

Esther Coren isn't really an influencer. She tried it for a while, absolutely hated it and now posts very little. But she's always very funny and I do miss her being around more. They've got a column in The Sunday Times and a podcast so are keeping busy.

She is literally the only tolerable thing about her husband. I keep thinking "oh he mustn't be THAT bad if Esther likes him." And they do seem to be great pals underneath it all.

Not sure that he was talking about SV though. She's definitely not a celebrity and I doubt he even knows SV is alive. I don't think Esther has ever met Susie? I know she's met a few of them but I can't remember ever seeing her with Susie.

I've watched them. She doesn't say much. She doesn't feel she is the same person as she was then, people have threatened her children's lives and asked her to harm herself, she is keeping her account private. That's about it.

FOD and MOD were already fairly affluent even before they exploded onto Instagram. They were both privately educated and he'd got a very well paid job as a business consultant. I think they still had family help in order to buy their first house in Crystal Palace though. Then Instagram happened to them and the money started pouring in. They were a highly successful Instagram Family Brand and all their finances are openly accessible on line at Companies House. They were living very high on the hog, freebie holidays in Mauritius, invited to red carpet premieres and MOD landed a prestigious M&S advertising partnership. And of course their huge, free 'reno' of the new house, with it's germolene pink, £4K bathroom sink and state of the art kitchen, everything from the parquet flooring to the prints on the walls was kindly gifted to them of course.

But all the while MOD was very busy on Tattle creating various personas in order to slag off her Insta buddies and her own husband. And in the process revealed her racist tendencies too. Then some B list influencer decided to expose MOD's very shady behaviour and called her out and that's when the fairy tale came to a rather abrupt end, with MOD's epic fail splashed all across the red tops.

Oh goodness I don't think a scripted apology where she doesn't actually say sorry and where she presents as a victim is going to help her case.

I think she should look for a better agent.....she's made things ten thousand times worse 😬

They influence people on like what to buy, what's fashionable etc etc and get paid for advertising etc
