Just need an unbiased opinion.

Based on clothes only, is this baby a boy or a girl?

I would say a girl purely because of the frilled edging on the top. Everything else about the outfit is fairly neutral.

mrsBtheparker · 05/06/2020 19:44

Boy, plenty of blue in the cot bedding!

Mrsbclinton · 05/06/2020 19:45

Girl

Bookoffacts · 05/06/2020 19:46

Could be either but I think those are baby boy trousers, due to the cut of the trousers.
So boy.

Rosieredapples · 05/06/2020 19:47

Girl

I'd have said either a girl, or a second-born boy. (Sorry DS, you didn't care at that age, and a top's a top...)

Alfiemoon1 · 05/06/2020 19:53

Girl based on the top the trousers could be either

IlonaRN · 05/06/2020 19:54

The t-shirt has frilly bits, so I would say girl (despite the trousers being more boyish)

Luckyonetwo · 05/06/2020 20:02

Girl

Xmasbaby11 · 05/06/2020 20:04

Boy

GlamGiraffe · 05/06/2020 20:06

The colours are unisex but the top has a frill edge so I'd say girl.

Rhiannon13 · 05/06/2020 20:06

Ugh. Are we still having to do the 'pink/pastel is for girls' thing?

Pomegranatemolasses · 05/06/2020 20:06

I would say girl, but I know you're going to tell us it's a boy.

UnsureOfFuture · 05/06/2020 20:07

Girl due to the frilly hem/sleeve.

YukoandHiro · 05/06/2020 20:07

Either? who cares?

People really are very strange.
DS was dressed in the most stereotypical pale blue and white Baby boys stuff when he was small, everyone thought he was a girl, it was comedic.
DD conversely wore the pink and white, she was accused of being a silicone reborn baby DOLL by strangers on multiple occasions Confused.
Dont give people a second thought. You just cant even behind to wonder what goes on in people's heads!

runrabbitrunrunrun · 05/06/2020 20:22

Why does it matter!?

atilathehut · 05/06/2020 20:28

Girl

MuchTooTired · 05/06/2020 20:31

I’d guess girl. Not rtft yet!

ForeverBubblegum · 05/06/2020 20:50

The clothes are more girl than boy but DS got hand me downs from various friends kids, both girls and boys, a lot of which are now being used by DD. I would happily put either of them in that outfit, so would not assume girl.

If I met you at a baby group I'd probably just say 'what a lovely baby' then wait to see if you referred to them as he / she, or said a name that gave it away.

madcatladyforever · 05/06/2020 20:54

Well it's definitely a baby of some sort.

Babyroobs · 05/06/2020 21:03

Girl

I got this all the time with my dd. When she was about two weeks old I took her out to the shops wearing just a pink bodysuit. A woman standing near me looked at dd and asked how old "he" was. When she was a year old we went somewhere with her dressed in a stripy black and white top, coral trousers and coral shoes with a huge flower on the top of each one. She also had a headband on. A man walking by said to his family "ah...look at Little Lord Fauntleroy over there" pointing at my dd.

IHateCoronavirus · 05/06/2020 21:07

At first look from afar I thought boy, at the colours looked a but vegetable in palette. When I clicked on the picture I changed my mind to girl because of the pom-poms.
