Me and my partner have loved the name Hope for years, I have found out I’m pregnant with a little girl. Now it is getting closer I can’t stop myself thinking about what nicknames she may have or what kids may pick on.
What if everyone calls her hopeless or no hope. What are your thoughts ?? HELPPPP X

It's a lovely name.

Hope is a lovely name. If children are going to tease your child, they will do it no matter what her name is. Go for it!

I like it and wouldn't think it odd but for me there are too many quotes and things like the last Hope etc. Plus the Nietzsche quote that really resonates with me (pessimist)

Probably depends what it goes with.
Probably needs a two syllable or more surname
Hope Love ( as in Courtney love ) hope bell, hope wood don’t really go but
Hope Williamson sounds fine

You know I have never thought when hearing the name Hope, Hopeless etc. I think it's a lovely name and a lot of meaning.

I know an adult hope

She hasn’t had any problems with nick names
