I can't wait to see it tonight but I also could never be an astronaut. They need to be so calm in all situations.

Oddballz · 27/05/2020 20:00

I'm afraid of heights hahah

Dk20 · 27/05/2020 20:01

I could never be an astronaut because I suffer from travel sickness Smile

bluefoxmug · 27/05/2020 20:01

When I was at school they told us that if you wanted to be an astronaut, you had to be able to go without a wee for 8 hours. So that was struck off my list of career choices.

No toilet.

BrieAndChilli · 27/05/2020 20:04

I am claustrophobic - not just in small spaces but on any space I know I can’t get out of so if I was locked in a fort all stadium I would be panicky. So being in a space ship knowing I couldn’t go outside and breathe would freak me right out.

Guacamole · 27/05/2020 20:05

I could never be an astronaut because I’m not brave enough and am a bit risk averse. Also I feel cramped and claustrophobic on aeroplanes, so a tiny pod on the end of a rocket would be an absolute nightmare for me.
So exciting though, we’ve been watching for an hour already.

Immigrantsong · 27/05/2020 20:06

Certain films that show all sorts if horrible things happening at space have out me of pursuing an otherwise illustrious career in astronauting.

Charles11 · 27/05/2020 20:06

Because I’m unfit! But in another life, I would so want to be an astronaut.

TwistyHair · 27/05/2020 20:07

No wee for 8 hours?!

ScarfLadysBag · 27/05/2020 20:08

Just thinking about it makes me panic. I'm still traumatised from watching Apollo 13.

bluefoxmug · 27/05/2020 20:08

I get motion sick as well. Envy

and no shower/bath for the trip.

I wouldn't fancy having to use a nappy. I think that would be my line in the sand.

Too many like that on beaches at the moment.Grin

I don't think I could be an astronaut because I prefer more sedate acceleration.

Justmuddlingalong · 27/05/2020 20:10

I used to panic watching Space 1999. 🤯

AnneLovesGilbert · 27/05/2020 20:10

Space is boring
Motion sickness
I wee at least once an hour
I was terrible at science

Toilenstripes · 27/05/2020 20:10

I’m terrible at maths and engineering.

ErrolTheDragon · 27/05/2020 20:11

No wee for 8 hours?!

I could do that part if I had to.

Sarcelle · 27/05/2020 20:12

Because the whole idea of space and the nothingness terrifies me.

Guacamole · 27/05/2020 20:13

Those spacesuits look a bit weird and plastic-y. So nervous for these 2 astronauts and their families.

profpoopsnagle · 27/05/2020 20:13

I'd have to be playing a bit of Candy Crush on that ipad to pass the time.

Tsubasa1 · 27/05/2020 20:29

Because how do you masturbate in a space suit?

manitobajane · 27/05/2020 20:32
