Neighbours asked us to be quiet

My next door neighbours told us we are being to loud in the mornings. I have a 8 month old baby who is awake around 6. He is finding his voice and talking loudly and shouting. He doesn't cry, and is happy... just learning to make noises I suppose.

I can't control this at all, playing, holding, rocking etc does not stop him from doing it.

I feel so awful about my neighbours but what can I do?

I guess I'm just asking on a scale of 1 to 10, how bad should I feel Blush

We have a jolly little person of exactly the same age next door. Except unlike the OP's neighbours, we're not miserable purselipped twats.
Play them some Skrillex, that'll learn 'em.

Wow @jonnybiscuits where do you get these continental babies that follow instructions so clearly and are so easy to operate?
I've never known one to behave in such an impeccable manner. I've clearly just had bog standard uncontinental babies because I've never known the magic trick of 'put to bed later, wake later! Simple!' To do anything other than result in a grumpy baby.
OP I also have neighbours who think noise only travels one way through the wall. Ignore them. Although next time you have a baby try and upgrade to one of those fancy continental ones.

Hahahaha. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's baby is broke 🤣
