I was flying to Budapest for the weekend, had just arrived and spent a lovely first afternoon looking around

On our way home from holiday in Wales with my parents, sisters and their families. The last term time holiday before dd1 and dn1 started school. So glad we did it - we live all over the country and I doubt we'll be able to meet up altogether for a long time.

Sitting in a hotel with my sister having afternoon tea, drinking champagne and taking a selfie 🤣🤣. According to fb memorie we later boarded the last train home very drunk where we again took a selfie.

Camping with my extended family - parents, aunts and uncle, cousins. My 2 year old had a whale of a time playing with her older second cousins. We stayed at a campsite with few facilities onsite but right next to a country park with a deer sanctuary, little farm, lots of play areas, a mini train. We were hoping to go again this year Sad

I was stuck in a horrifically violent relationship, and I'd just started to open up to the friend who eventually helped me escape. I was also slipping (unknown to me) into the start of anorexia.

I'm now planning my move into permanent accommodation, after being in a refuge for a few months.

If you'd told me this time last year, that me and my DC would be free, I wouldn't have believed a word of it. Oh- and I'm only about 10lb under being a healthy BMI!

Not bad for the lass whom my Ex Bastard swore wouldn't last the week without him!

Just started the afternoon GCSE at the school where I am exams officer. Dead on my feet after the first 10 days of exams and looking forward to falling into a bucket of wine after the school run.

Honeybee it's weird, because everything seemed to fall into place before i actually left! I'd been sober for six months (I'm an addict) and I sought help with the alcohol before I even had an inkling that I'd be strong enough to leave.

I'd also bonded with my friend a few months before I left, which enabled me to put my trust in someone for the first time in my life. I exited the relationship sober, and with support. It's weird how shit happens! (Me and my DF started off clashing and absolutely hating each other on a Facebook group! 😂)

This time last year I was homeless, sofa surfing with family and friends/ balancing my career on a knife edge, wondering how I was going to pull through.

We did and I was like, yes I've got this...then BAM global pandemic! I have the worst luck.
