I was flying to Budapest for the weekend, had just arrived and spent a lovely first afternoon looking around

What were you all doing this time last year?

Just looked at my calendar - I was a bit annoyed as my period had arrived, cycle 4 of TTC since the January. It’d take until November to conceive but we did manage it! 28 weeks pregnant now

Last year we were camping. The year before that we were in Cyprus..

I believe that once we realize that we are capable of doing things we thought before were impossible, we also start to realize that we are suddenly strong enough to leave that abusive relationship. You were strong enough to overcome addiction and probably you realized of what you are really capable of. I left my abusive ex a few months after overcoming severe depression and realizing I was stronger then I thought. Also, keep believing and the Universe will direct you to the right path and offer you chances and opportunities if you're willing to see them, I really believe this

Just getting home from a five day break with my best friend in Barcelona. God it was so good!

Well exactly! And the fact that I've been through the most stressful year of my life (relocation, dealing with the fallout of DV, etc) without touching a drop tells me that I'll never pick up the bottle again. If this year hasn't given me an excuse to relapse, nothing will.

I was packing and getting everything ready to suprise the children with a holiday to Disneyland Paris! So glad I didn't book to go again this year like I was going to, I would have been devastated to cancel it!

At Catton Hall, Derbyshire for Bearded Theory festival. Should be there, now, too.

I was driving to my daughter's boarding school for her graduation and to move her out for the last time.

We all spent most of the weekend crying - it was very emotional.

Getting ready for a trip to Canada. It was amazing. So glad we went.
