Just that really! I am trying to declutter my house, and re-organise things.
What do you keep in this cupboard? It opens at an awkward angle, so trying to be clever about I put in there. Looking for ideas/hacks!
Thanks

I don't have a cupboard over the fridge, but in the cupboard over the oven I have

  • casserole dishes
  • vases
  • 'best' wine & water glasses

We keep tinfoil, cling film and baking paper. There are the books for kitchen appliances and a few kitchen things I don't ever yes but are sentimental.

We have shelves. A couple of vases, boxes of tissues, the iron and a mini shredder.

Tablecloths (for non-extended and extended and for outdoor table which we bring in at Christmas). Plus the heatproof mats that go on those tables.

First aid kit, sewing kit, stuff I wouldn't use often?

Pertella · 19/05/2020 18:52

Various manuals for appliances we have owned in the past plus the little bags of left over bobbins that we didnt need to use with them like spare washing machine feet and wall screws

Treats & "fat food"

Out of sight out of mind Blush

HerRoyalNotness · 19/05/2020 18:53

Nothing. It’s too high and too set back to access. When we redo the kitchen we won’t be replacing it

Echobelly · 19/05/2020 18:54

Prayer books for the Jewish High Holy Days Blush

Cloudsarebright · 19/05/2020 18:55

Medicine. It's high up.

Picnic stuff - cool bags, cold packs, flasks etc.

0blio · 19/05/2020 18:59

Christmas stuff - crackers, table decorations, candles.

CockCarousel · 19/05/2020 19:03

Plastic bags and kitchen roll. Not very exciting.

bibberdybobberdyboo · 19/05/2020 19:05

Best wine glasses and chocolate I want to hide from kids!

BuddhaAtSea · 19/05/2020 20:19

Cake stand, the ‘birthday decorations’ box, spare napkins, biscuit cutters. It’s a bit of a party cupboard. I actually need to have a look.

Wokeaf · 19/05/2020 20:26

Pet food, pet treats and other bits and pieces for dog and cat.

ClassicCola · 19/05/2020 20:27

I don't have a cupboard over my fridge.

caringcarer · 19/05/2020 20:30

Bleach, child is 13 now and can reach higher than me but I used to keep it there for safety and just never changed as son got older.

Fairybatman · 19/05/2020 20:37

Case of Diet Coke Blush and the reusable shopping bags. Sometimes extra tonic water.

ErrolTheDragon · 19/05/2020 20:41

I used to keep stuff I didn't use much in the cupboard over the fridge eg the big box of about 100 different cookie cutters. Until DH, investigating why the fridge didn't seem to be working as well as it should realised this stuff was impeding the air flow to the coils at the back. The fridge has worked a lot better since we cleared it out.

Toomanycats99 · 19/05/2020 20:42

Large serial box and couple of other food bits I have no room in pull out larders for. Mini daim bars I was hiding from my daughters.

Tulipstulips · 19/05/2020 20:46

Tins and Le Creuset type cast iron stuff.

Oblomov20 · 19/05/2020 20:53

First aid kit. Spare packs of kitchen towels.

NameChange84 · 19/05/2020 20:55

I’ve genuinely never seen a cupboard over the fridge before! I didn’t know it was a thing.

We have an American Fridge Freezer and keep kitchen roll on top of it though lol.
