Help! Scots slang to mean bad deal, rip off, etc.

I’m trying to remember a word my father (who was Scottish) used to say to indicate something he’d bought was a bad deal. It’s one of those ones where I have no idea what the word was, sounded like, what it began with and so on, but I feel I’ll know it as soon as I see it.

Can anyone help me?

Scunnered means fed up / annoyed
It’s an emotion Grin or state of mind

It’s a state of mind I find myself in frequently these days

“ am totally skunnered “

Scunnered is definitely an appropriate emotion just now!
