Yes. Mid 40s.

balancingfigure · 18/05/2020 14:07

Yes, mid 40s.

DramaAlpaca · 18/05/2020 14:08

I really want to, but no not yet. I'm 55.

MorrisZapp · 18/05/2020 14:10

Yes. I'm 48 but working to my 9 year olds palate so the first stop will be Nandos.

Pootle40 · 18/05/2020 14:10

Yes - I'm 44

omgggggggggggg · 18/05/2020 14:13

Mid 20's. would NOT be taking my toddler with me. Me and DP to a tiny family run Italian not far from home that does the most delicious food I have ever eaten in my entire life. I'm going to order everything I fancy and even have a posh coffee for desert

saylor · 18/05/2020 14:16

Yes, including taking my 2 toddlers.
Early 30s

Chochito · 18/05/2020 14:17

Depends on which measures are in place. I would like to, but won't enjoy it unless it is safer.

I'm 30s.

blimppy · 18/05/2020 14:19

Yes I'd go. Early 50s.

Chocolatefishandchups · 18/05/2020 14:19

Absolutely 100% we can’t wait.
38 and 42.
As for the New Zealand poster - I despair. 0-1 new cases daily in a population of 5 million, and no known community spread. Borders closed. Yet people are still too scared to go out to socially distanced venues? Christ I hope for the sake of the hospitality industry there, that your views aren’t representative of the norm. :(. And I say that as a NZ’der living in London who would have no issues dining in London tonight.

monkeyonthetable · 18/05/2020 14:22

Yes, definitely. I've tried to book tables online for July.

I really want the hospitality industry to recover fast. It's such a huge, central part of our economy and our culture.

I'm mid fifties.

lynsey91 · 18/05/2020 14:22

No. Mind you we never eat out much anyway as we can both cook well and don't see the logic in paying to eat something we can make as well if not better.

I am mid 60's and DH a few years younger.

Wewearpinkonwednesdays · 18/05/2020 14:23

Yup definitely. I'm 30 and have 2 kids, 12 and 6.

empireants · 18/05/2020 14:24

Yes definitely! I'm around 30.

Merename · 18/05/2020 14:26

Yes I would, but only because I believe I’ve had the virus and assume a level of immunity. If not I think I’d be waiting. Depends on the set up and a lot of factors too. I’m 38.

polkadotpixie · 18/05/2020 14:28

I definitely would, I'd go today if they were open

I'm 35

Wouldn't take my toddler though because he would probably lick the furniture/floor/other diners 🙄

highmarkingsnowmobile · 18/05/2020 14:33

Yes, late 40s.

user1477391263 · 18/05/2020 14:35

I am in a country where only about half of restaurants closed in the first place (but footfall is down a lot).

We will be starting to eat in restaurants from June (and would do so in the UK as well), but will look for places with individual booths OR (better still) outdoor seating. No buffets. No noisy or crowded environments.

I'm quite surprised that there has not been much discussion so far of safer vs less-safe restaurant formats. The difference in risk level will vary dramatically according to these kinds of factors.

I am 42.

JumpingAtJackdaws · 18/05/2020 14:37

Yes definitely! Can't wait to visit our regular spots. Late 50's.

dreamingbohemian · 18/05/2020 14:40

Buffets are banned in Berlin restaurants. I imagine they will be in lots of places.

It will be interesting to see what sorts of permanent changes take place. Some of them will actually be nicer for customers, I think.

I don't see how restaurants will be able to avoid price rises though, with so much less seating.

LemonadeAndDaisyChains · 18/05/2020 14:41

Yes
Early 40s

TazSyd · 18/05/2020 14:48

I’m quite jealous of my Sydney friends. They’ve been posting pics on FB - first meals and coffee out. Can’t wait.

Who’d have thought I’d be yearning for 1/2 hour in a coffee shop, it’s normally a weekly activity.

Pegase · 18/05/2020 14:52

Yes mid 30s but only if the restaurant was practising social distancing. London restaurants it already felt like you were eating in your neighbour's lap half the time!

We are still getting takeaways

ILikeyourHairyHands · 18/05/2020 14:56

Yes! I can't wait. 47.

BearSoFair · 18/05/2020 15:01

Not right away. Mid 40s.
