I love watching 80s adverts, continuity etc plus old editions of stuff like World in Action, 40 Minutes etc

New York in the 1970s is another almost exhausted favourite. Much more interesting then before they disneyfied it and cleaned it up. If I had a time machine that’s where I’d definitely go!

Soft White Underbelly held my interest for a while, as did docs about skid row (area in LA, not 90’s rock group).

I LOATHE asmr but dd loves it. I watch nineties music videos. Some of these are hilarious.

I watch videos of people on their death beds. And birth announcements, especially after infertility.

Fan video tributes/compilation of TV shows. Doesn’t really matter if I’ve seen the show or not. I once watched a four part fan video of every interaction between two characters in Greys Anatomy. I’ve never watched a single episode.

I also got stuck in Bruno Mars wormhole one weekend. I’m not really that much of a fan.
A stupid amount of ‘beachy waves’ and ‘smoky eyes’ tutorials. and I still can’t do either.

I’ve deleted and reinstalled YT off my iPad many many times.

Tonight I've watched an old World in Action about chart rigging and record hyping from 1980, interesting to see how some of the songs from then were hits due to sheer bribery.

BRB, found a load of old News at Tens

ASMR type stuff like the instructions for using jade rollers and gua sha stones is nice and soothing, unlike actually using them!

I watch Li Ziqi videos - which is a Chinese woman who moved home to care for her grandmother, and they do lovely little videos about making meals and duvets from scratch.

It’s completely contrived but a slice of serene loveliness is high really helps me relax

Sometimes yes @HappenstanceMarmite !! Sneaky uploads occur showing from start to end, and full screen as well. They stay up for about 2-3 days and then are pulled/ axed/cancelled. Same with Teen Mom.

I've gone down ab deep ASMR rabbit hole! Especially tho role plays - there's a girl 'Goodnight Moon ASMR' who has created a whole fantasy world with loads of different characters, it's all complete nonsense but strangely addictive, gives me a lovely tingly feeling & sends me to sleep!
