My neighbours are arguing

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 17:33

I'm not being purposely nosy. They just happen to be directly outside my house.

Neighbour comes out from next door (Im semi detached and theres a street between me and these neighbours, but I recognise the voice anywhere) and screams down the street to someone "eeeeyyy, did you comment on that picture down the river?"
I didnt hear what was said in response, but theyve just had the following exchange outside of my house...

N1: I don't give a shit, why comment
N2: oh fuck off I can say what I like
N1: I fuckin dare ya, I'll knock your fucking head off you dickhead
N2: oh fuck off and get a life, its only Facebook.

N1: you fuck offffff (screamed, as I presume N2 walked away into their house)

Now I really want to know what the picture down the river was and what was said on it.
I dont have any of them on Facebook though as I don't actually speak to any of them.
Damn.
Im no artist, but have attached a diagram.
They were stood in direct view of my window, and were very very loud.

I don't get what the argument is about?

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 17:38

Neither do I. Thats why I posted. Im now wondering what it was about, whats the deal with commenting on a picture? What was said? It must have been something really bad to cause an argument in the street!

Is there a local river? I'm intrigued to find out and I'm not even your neighbour🤣

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 17:43

There is. I take the kids down there quite often. Its a beautiful place.

Oh you have to search for them on fb and find out what the picture at the river was and what was said. Grin

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 17:45

I dont know their surnames...

OP posts:
pickleson · 10/05/2020 17:45

It'll be on a local fbook group page

Sparrowlegs248 · 10/05/2020 17:45

Clearly you need to message lovely neighbours and ask them. Then Facebook stalk N 1 and N2 as they may both not have very good privacy settings online, as they don't in real life!

pickleson · 10/05/2020 17:45

What town is the river in?

PianoTuner567 · 10/05/2020 17:48

Neighbour 1 went down to the river in the sunshine yesterday and it was crowded. Neighbour 2 made a snarky comment about social distancing and Covidiots.

That’s my guess!!

Mrsjayy · 10/05/2020 17:48

I would be all overthat doing a bit of fb research it is bonkers!

My neighbours were arguing not in English yesterday how selfish of them !

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 17:54

I've just had a quick look at the local Facebook group. Neither of them have public profiles! How dare they!

OP posts:
HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 17:54

I might now try and go through every member on there and find the picture in question. Surely someone has it. Grin

OP posts:
lovelilies · 10/05/2020 17:59

This is why I'm FB friends with my neighbours

ChandlerIsTheBestFriend · 10/05/2020 18:10

Private profiles! How selfish! Grin

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 18:29

Damn. I cant find anything.
I'm going to let DS1 play xbox tonight. He's got a few friends who he will speak to over the headset...

Bet she was out swanning about down by the river neighbours been sarky on face book about "excercise"

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 10/05/2020 18:47

When DH and I first moved in together (grotty one-bed ground floor flat) one night we heard the upstairs neighbour having an absolute screaming row with someone. When we went out the next morning, there were a dozen red roses scattered across the path. Very memorable.

CuppaZa · 10/05/2020 18:49

You’re not based in a Kent village are you OP?

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 18:49

Mrsjayy probably, but I really want to know what was said to cause such upset

OP posts:
HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 18:49

CuppaZa

No, much further north than that.

TW2013 · 10/05/2020 18:53

Do you have any mutual friends? Could you set up a road Facebook page as a front for snooping on them? You could pretend that it is so you can co ordinate picking up essentials. You only need to snare one of them and make them friends.

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 18:58

TW2013 oh god no I'm far too antisocial for that! And I don't think anyone actually wants to be my friend. I posted once in the community Facebook group asking about the food bank and everyone ignored me. I even try attending the events they put on (before lockdown) and pretty much got ignored, so I gave up trying.
I speak to lovely neighbours, and one other woman over the road (across from lovely neighbours) and thats it.
I'm always polite to everyone else, but they just don't want to know.
No idea why.

Do you think they may have been referring to oktavist Irinarch Zragewsky's version of 'Down The River'?

HerRoyalPain · 10/05/2020 19:01

user1471565182 GrinGrinGrinGrin
I highly doubt it.
