Why are you awake?

Couldn't see one of these so thought I'd start one - nice to know you're not the only one up when most people are fast asleep

I'm a terrible sleeper and it's been made worse with lockdown and no real routine, my natural body clock would be 3/4am to 10/11am if I had a choice but I'm currently sitting up late and then getting up early with the kids, then paying for it all day!

So why are you up?

@Fuzzywuzzyface have a virtual hug and step away from Dr Google.

I'm opening the virtual cafe, may I popur some tea, coffee and hot chocolate intot he key board for you all?

My husband and I agreed to an amicable split today

Fell asleep sitting up at 11 . Woke up about hour later . Woke my self up getting ready for bed ...
Been awake ever since.
Rubbish sleeper much worse since lock down .

Child woke me at 2am. Been looking at my phone ever since!

Menopause and anxiety induced insomnia with a touch of heart burn. I was dreaming about children being ill with COVID - I am a granny - and I woke up crying.
I got off to sleep at 12:30am after working hard all day on our allotment and then I had a lovely bath but it's not worked.
I need to get up, get a drink and take more tablets.

I have a 2 and 3 year old who have both been up since 2am arsing around and my husband is nights. If my 2yo doesn't stop waking in the night soon I'm going to kill myself. I haven't slept for about 4 years.

Because I heard a rumour online shopping slots would be released at 3am.

They were. And now I can't get back to sleep.

Managed a few hours of fitful sleep. Hope everyone did/does better! X

The hospital called about an hour ago .. his sats are up and he is aware of his surroundings. He will be going for a CT scan re aneurysm.

Went back to sleep but had to leave the light on , that was a horrible dream . I think I am going to go for a walk today . ( very rural ) I don’t think this shielding is suiting my brain .

I slept from about 05:30 until 09:30 so feel ok just frustrated that I’ve slept late. At least it’s raining.
Just catching up on here and wanted to wish you all well.

That sounds positive Fuzzywuzzyface I hope the scan goes well.
Sorry to hear that so many are suffering in different ways at the moment. Hope you all have better days today. I took some meds at about 4am, eventually fell asleep but only just woken up so feel a bit disorientated!
