Hello,

Does anyone have any feel good or uplifting film recommendations please? Old or new I really don't mind.

Thanks

We watched Green Book a few weeks ago. The most uplifting film I've seen in a while, I felt a bit emotional at the end in a happy way.

Hidden Figures is also excellent and stars the forever handsome Kevin Costner Wink

TaTuirseOrm · 27/04/2020 17:01

Cool Runnings is brilliant, even all these years later!
Another John Candy one - watched Brewster's Millions yesterday, thought it would be terribly dated but actually I enjoyed it.

We watched "Long Shot" the other day with Charlize theron, was just so daft and lovely. Its Quite rude though and with a lot of swearing so beware if dc are around

I’d agree with Legally blonde....saw it last week and didn’t think it was my sort of film at all but enjoyed it.

ellanwood · 27/04/2020 17:25

Legally Blonde is the film I watch again and again to lift my spirits. Chocolat is also feelgood
Groundhog Day

I loved Lion but not sure it's spirit lifting. I don't think I've ever cried so much at any film. Felt shattered afterwards.

Plops365 · 27/04/2020 17:31

The Martian

Mojitomogul · 27/04/2020 17:34

Bruce Almighty

13 Going on 30
The 40 year old virgin
The Hangover

WickedlyPetite · 27/04/2020 17:34

Hidden Figures

JacobReesMogadishu · 27/04/2020 17:45

Btw, is legally blonde 2 worth a watch? Saw some shit reviews which put me off.

ellanwood · 27/04/2020 17:49

Legally Blonde 2 is rubbish. The first film is a classic. the second one is a really feeble spinoff.
