Hello,

Does anyone have any feel good or uplifting film recommendations please? Old or new I really don't mind.

Thanks

Oh I love how someone said Now and Then on the first page here. I love that film.
Really felt for and identified for the characters. Made me cry

So underrated!!

Ooh I agree with Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Long Shot, I was really surprised at how well Charlize Theron does comedy.

And A Good Year, we make a point of watching it every summer and imagine living in a crumbly chateau in Provence. Young Max and his grandad are adorable. I know I shouldn't but I have a bit of a thing for Russel Crowe Confused. So I'd probably add Gladiator too.

Agree Eddie the Eagle and Little Miss Sunshine.

Also anything with Steve Carrel is a good bet.

"What We Did on Our Holiday"

It is an absolutely brilliant film, I love it. One to perhaps avoid if you've had a recent bereavement though as it's a big part of the film. As you'd expect from Billy Connelly it is very funny though.
