What are you all eating? We’ve got enough food and a variety, but I’m sick of eating the same thing over and over. Please inspire me!

Tonight we're having steak with tartiflette and asparagus.

Tomorrow is peanut butter chicken.

Monday is cheeseburger pasta

AlohaMolly · 25/04/2020 12:38

Ooooh tartiflette!

DP has just announced he’s doing tea and it will be sausage egg and chips, which isn’t exciting but at least I’m not cooking it!

Omg tartiflette yum!

We're having sausages and cheesy mash, might sling some garlic in it as well.

AlohaMolly · 25/04/2020 16:34

I’ve convinced him to let me do a chicken curry instead, I’m not feeling chips today!

Although now you’ve said cheesy, garlicky mash...

I'm going to make tuna rice bake and pray the DC still like it. (Wrong end of the month so running low on everything)

iklboo · 25/04/2020 16:44

Tartiflette. DS(14) has declared me the best cook in the world.

iklboo · 25/04/2020 16:47

iklboo · 25/04/2020 17:50

I used THIS recipe.

Ragwort · 25/04/2020 17:51

BBQ steak here .............. steak seems to be a popular choice for Sat night.

Avocado and prawn starter, a bit 80s but still love it Grin.

TooMinty · 25/04/2020 17:53

Tonight is steak with sweet potato wedges and garlic mushrooms.
Tomorrow I might make Taiwanese Pork belly in the slow cooker, probably serve with rice and roasted asparagus.

Moltenpink · 25/04/2020 17:55

Turkey mince burgers with salad and some kind of salsa (kiwi maybe?)

ThatsWhatHeroesDo · 25/04/2020 17:57

We had sausages and salad and grated cheese in soft taco shells. I had spicy perinaise on mine. Nice and easy, it's just the DC and me tonight.

BlessYourCottonSocks · 25/04/2020 17:59

I've never heard of tartiflette! It looks good, though.

We're having Thai chicken curry and rice.

Neeentay · 25/04/2020 18:06

Spinach and feta pies- ready made puff pastry, defrosted spinach and cubes of feta. So easy!

TheChosenTwo · 25/04/2020 18:12

We’re having jerk steak on the bbq.
Had Mexican night last night.
Tomorrow is a rack of ribs on the bbq before the weather turns.
Monday home made pizzas
Tuesday is a fried ‘breakfast’
Wednesday is whatever seafood we collect from the fishmongers
Thursday is probably homemade burgers
All of this is subject to be changed to anything at any time Grin

TheChosenTwo · 25/04/2020 18:14

We wanted to do a tartiflette last week but my food shop was delivered without the reblechon cheese Sad
We love a good tartiflette 😢

fellyjish · 25/04/2020 18:20

Steak tonight and ribs tomorrow (like others BBQ before the weather turns).

Think I'll do a sweet potato satay curry in the week and then have a load of chicken thighs in the freezer so need to think of something to do with them!

PurpleDaisies · 25/04/2020 18:20

Take away here!

dingdang · 25/04/2020 18:21

Some great suggestions here. I made a leek, parsnip and potato gratin earlier which I'm having for dinner. Green salad to go it and some roasted broccoli. It looks and smells delish 😋

FizzyPink · 25/04/2020 18:36

We’re having a chicken curry with naan. I’m trying to use up some of the cupboard ingredients to put off a supermarket trip for longer and there’s a jar of curry sauce and naan in the freezer.
