Concert and festival refunds?

Shatandfattered · 22/04/2020 10:09

Does anyone have any inkling what the outcome will be for cancelled concerts and festivals? Is it likely to be a refund or will the tickets be valid for next year or a rescheduled date?

I’ve had money refunded by Pizza Express live for one event , and replacement tickets / dates for 3 others .

Bombaybunty · 22/04/2020 10:23

I have tickets to see Crowded House in July. The whole your has been cancelled and rescheduled for next year. Our tickets are valid for next year.

Waiting to see what happens about Patti Smith in November....

My Download tickets are in the process of being refunded. I got the option of transferring them to next year, but I’d prefer to see some of the lineup before I commit to it.

I have tickets for The Revolution in July, I got an email saying it was going to be rescheduled so no offer of a refund yet. Not sure what happens if I can't make the new dates Confused

Springersrock · 22/04/2020 10:30

I’ve got festival tickets - we can either have a refund or roll them over to next year

They’ve released the date for next year already so I’m going to roll them over

Veronicat · 22/04/2020 10:32

I've not heard anything about the Summer Evenings gigs in Glasgow yet. They are on in August. Hopefully they will rebook for next year .

Floralnomad · 22/04/2020 10:40

We’ve not heard about The Killers yet afaik and that’s early June .

Chiyo666 · 22/04/2020 10:41

My download tickets have been transferred to next year. Rammstein im still waiting to hear from.

Monkeytapper · 22/04/2020 10:43

Figgygal · 22/04/2020 10:45

My tickets for Keane in summer have been refunded
Not heard anything about killers tickets which is a gig 2 days after Keane - through ticketmaster going to chase

Theatre tickets I had are being moved to new dates I understand

BearSoFair · 22/04/2020 10:48

I'm waiting to hear about 4 gigs (mini-festival really) in Berlin I had tickets for, confirmed as cancelled and the word from people living in Germany is we might get vouchers rather than a refund...which isn't great for me (in London!) so hoping for a refund option as the event had a large percentage of international ticketholders.

TheDogsMother · 22/04/2020 10:51

I have tickets for the O2 in October. Though it is a long way off I wouldn't be comfortable being with that many people even then. The O2/AXS have a general no refund policy and expect ticket holders to re-sell via their app. They've stated that as it stands the event will go ahead but if they have to cancel they will provide a refund. Also if they reschedule and we can't make the date we'd also get a refund. Its a waiting game I guess.

Pookaroo · 22/04/2020 10:57

I've got 4 gigs in June and so far only Queen have been rescheduled, I'm really hoping the other 3 get rescheduled not cancelled.

SlothMama · 22/04/2020 11:09

I'm supposed to be seeing The Killers 30th May which clearly isn't going to happen, but they are yet to cancel or reschedule. I'm also waiting for another concert in June to be moved or cancelled.

I wish they would make a decision sooner rather than later, if they do cancel I would like my money back soon!

Shatandfattered · 22/04/2020 11:25

Shatandfattered · 24/04/2020 12:18

Trnsmt now announced as cancelled with the option to roll to next year or refund

@Blobby10 Nicky from Westlife posted that all U.K concerts except Wembley (for now!) have been cancelled :(

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 24/04/2020 12:21

We’re carrying our Luminosity (dance festival in Amsterdam) tickets to next year. Happy to do so, got our accommodation and flights refunded too.

StuckBetweenDarknessAndLight · 24/04/2020 12:26

Is anyone waiting on Ticketmaster for past gigs? I was supposed to see Stereophonics last month. It was cancelled and I haven't received a refund yet. My friend who bought hers direct from RAH has received hers.

Blobby10 · 24/04/2020 12:30

@lurker101 thanks for the update. My daughter bought me the tickets for Christmas so hope she either gets her money back or they can be used on another date.

CornishPorsche · 24/04/2020 12:32

Waiting to hear for Rammstein and Guns and Roses.

Eden Sessions are all cancelled, so have asked for a refund - no guarantee of the same bands next year.

IsadoraQuagmire · 24/04/2020 12:49

I've had 2 concerts, which should have taken place this month, rescheduled (one was going to be at The Other Palace and has now been moved to the Adelphi in September)
The other has been rescheduled to October.
No idea if either will actually happen though Sad

Chiyo666 · 24/04/2020 13:05

@CornishPorsche

Concert and festival refunds?
lurker101 · 24/04/2020 13:21

@Blobby10 yes she should be able to - they have rescheduled their Cork concerts for almost exactly a year later (with existing tickets valid) so they’ll probably try to do something similar for U.K. dates but there’s more venues etc. So probably will take longer to announce
