I also love starch:

2 potato cakes with spread
Beans on toast
3 Percy pigs
Leek and potato soup with sourdough (all home made)

Also ran 5 miles and did some yoga.

Aldi vegan steak bake and some crisps

Cheese and sweet chilli sauce toastie (it was soooooo good) Apple

Dinner will be sausages, home made chunky chips, mushy peas
Wine....A well chilled white tonight I think

I think it’s great we all appear to be eating so well given the current circumstances 😃

Black coffee

Cheese, tomato and salad cream baguette

Pint of water
Dal and rice
Chocolate brownie and squirty cream
Some tortilla chips with a couple of glasses of Gavi.

Need more water and fruit and veg 😬

B- cinnamon porridge with almond milk
L- 2 slices wholemeal toast with mushroom paté, an apple
S- some sweet potato crisp type things and a yoghurt
D- mixed bean chilli with tortilla wraps, sour cream and cheese
S- hot cross bun with butter, a few mini eggs

B - Sourdough with some jam (in bed) and tea, an orange.
L - Sandwich - salad/ham & crisps
D - Roast Chicken, roast potato, carrots, broccoli.
S - Treacle flapjacks, Cranks recipe - really good. lots of tea, a G&T, few peanuts and a beer.

B porridge D sourdough pancakes with baked beans and mushrooms T "osso jacko", supposed to be a jackfruit thing based on osso bucco apparently but I'm not convinced although I've never had the latter. Was nice though, jackfruit and carrot in an oniony garlicky herby tomato sauce with white wine. Had rice with it.

On the 5:2 Diet. Fast day today
B 2 mugs of tea with skimmed milk
L: 3 mugs of coffee with skimmed milk
D: Fish in batter with mushy peas (Chippy tea as a treat for us all)
Not a typical day I hasten to add!

Yesterday I had--
B: muesli with milk, banana, raspberries & blackberries, and chopped nuts, coffee and water

L: smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, an orange, pistachios, Aldi lemon crumble tart, more coffee & water

D: chicken and mango burger in a wholemeal bun, homemade wedges and salad, water with elderflower cordial

Had some Lindt chocolate while watching a film in the night.

Today was desperate.
B dippy egg with multigrain soldiers
L turkey sandwich with some rice cakes (ate toddler’s picnic as she didn’t want it)
4pm friends came over for first play date since lockdown began (we are in Switzerland and this is ok as of now). Toasted end of lockdown with champagne. Had 3 glasses champagne and 2 white wine. Ate smoked salmon on blinis, hummus, crisps, olives, gherkins, cheese. No proper dinner.

D - Chilli, rice, salad, yogurt & tortilla chips, Choc ice-cream with a pear and stem ginger. 2 glasses red wine.
S - Made peanut butter biscuits, so had to taste test several. lots of tea.
