So we have established that Mrs Browns Boys is definitely the worst UK sitcom of all time, but now it’s time to flip it around and see what people think of as the best UK sitcom of all time.

Same rules as before (and yes, for the purpose of this thread Ireland does count). Looking forward to seeing what people’s suggestions are

and yes I will do results again at the end!!

@RuffleCrow No I haven’t spotted Mckenzie Crook yet! I’m just about to start series 3 so maybe I haven’t got to that yet. It makes me roar and reminds me so much of The Office x

JaneJeffer · 18/04/2020 20:52

Father Ted was made for Channel 4 so although the writers are Irish it's a UK production.

Only read the first page, and already seen the ones I would say.

Father Ted - totally classic especially for anyone with a Catholic background.

Yes Minister/Prime Minister - has not aged at all.

DrMaryMalone · 18/04/2020 21:09

I don’t think anyone has mentioned Teachers yet...which is travesty because it was bloody hilarious

I’d go for that but also Blackadder, Red Dwarf and Still Game.

Chickoletta · 18/04/2020 21:09

I forgot The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin and Porridge earlier, so would like to add them please.
