So we have established that Mrs Browns Boys is definitely the worst UK sitcom of all time, but now it’s time to flip it around and see what people think of as the best UK sitcom of all time.

Same rules as before (and yes, for the purpose of this thread Ireland does count). Looking forward to seeing what people’s suggestions are

The episode when they go to the theatre to watch Gay! and Moss ends up serving behind the bar still has me in stitches.

@Hotcuppatea - My vote was for the IT Crowd too but my favourite episode was Jen's New Shoes! "The Shoes-Ah!"

I’m going to add an honourable mention for Rev. Maybe not a timeless classic but like Outnumbered it was a rare sitcom that looked exactly like my real life.

Another Vote for This Country! I've watched it hundreds of times and it still makes me howl with laughter every time!
