So we have established that Mrs Browns Boys is definitely the worst UK sitcom of all time, but now it’s time to flip it around and see what people think of as the best UK sitcom of all time.

I started watching it because of this thread. It’s fab and very funny.

Haven't RTFT but has anyone mentioned Bread. My all time favourite.

After that Only Fools & Horses and Keeping up Appearances

I've always enjoyed Coupling. Skimming the responses so far, I seem to be the only one!

The one I can back to time and time again is The IT Crowd.

I loved Blackadder and Red Dwarf (the earlier ones) at the time but wouldn’t rewatch them like I do with IT Crowd.

I'm not sure that it's my favourite ever sitcom , but Dreams by the Cranberries came on the radio earlier and it made me think of that final wonderful scene in the Derry Girls and and I got quite teary!

Oh and Father Ted, and the second and then the final series of Blackadder. The end of Blackadder Goes Forth was stunning.
