Mummy, why do you look so smart?

Reader, I was wearing clean joggers and a clean tee shirt. I had brushed my hair.

Are you off out somewhere nice? 😆

ScarfLadysBag · 17/04/2020 18:10

Ooh hark at you! Brushed hair indeed.

WisestIsShe · 17/04/2020 18:11

Grin that's great. Children have a way of getting right to the heart of something!

Stealth boast much?! Brushed hair indeed!

I wore jeans today because I was collecting a click and collect at Asda. I haven’t left my village for a month.
It was very exciting.

Windyatthebeach · 17/04/2020 18:14

Op you clearly have exciting plans afoot...

Chucklecheeks01 · 17/04/2020 18:15

I put a bra on today as I had to leave the house to collect medicine. It came straight back off as soon as I was back in the house.

BeFire · 17/04/2020 18:15

I wore jeans, boots AND MAKEUP...to go to Lidl today Grin exciting times.

BeFire · 17/04/2020 18:15

Ooh and a bra!

Wolfiefan · 17/04/2020 18:16

Next you’ll be saying you were wearing a bra and had washed more than your hands. Grin

SummerHouse · 17/04/2020 18:16

I was just putting a bra on when three year old asked... "what are those flaps for?"

OddshoesOddsocks · 17/04/2020 18:16

I brushed my hair today, it’s been in the same bun for 3 days, and dp (jokingly) accused me of having an affair when he got home Grin

Wolfiefan · 17/04/2020 18:17

Haha. Xpost.
I have dinner down my sweatshirt and it has holes in. (Thanks puppy!) Hmm

Weirdomagnet · 17/04/2020 18:17

😆

Weirdomagnet · 17/04/2020 18:18

If I wake up and remember I've washed the day before, I feel really good about myself!

GlamGiraffe · 17/04/2020 18:19

My beighbours child asked me 😱"what has happened to your face?" In the most shocked and horrified manner a few years ago.
I wasnt wearing makeup! It's the red lipstick- lack thereof giving the scare factor obviously😱😱

Weirdomagnet · 17/04/2020 18:19

😂😂

Barbararara · 17/04/2020 18:20

Is it bin day?

LadyMonicaBaddingham · 17/04/2020 18:23

Shit. I've just realised that I put mascara and earrings on to put the bins out this morning...

NowWashYourHandsPlease · 17/04/2020 18:25

Hot date, I reckon

catflapuk · 17/04/2020 18:26

I put on a 'work bra' yesterday for my daily walk. The more comfy (but also less supportive ones) are in the washing. After a month at home I was quite impressed how nicely lifted and together my boobs felt. I left the bra on for the rest of the day and actually felt dressed up.

DailyKegelReminder · 17/04/2020 18:26

Did you post this just to rub in our faces you are a rule breaker. Getting dressed up to go out are we? #STAYATHOME

quietheart · 17/04/2020 18:29

Yesterday my 7 yr old DGS looked at me and said wow 🤩 I was wearing a dress, not sure if he meant wow you look nice or wow you haven’t got your pjs on 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mapril · 17/04/2020 18:30

What on earth have you got all dolled up for??

angorarabbit · 17/04/2020 18:35

I thought it was only me who felt totally overdressed today.....ancient pair of jeans and an actual jumper instead of leggings and hoodie; dressed up to the nines for my weekly outing to Tesco.
