aibutohavethisusername · 11/04/2020 20:16

Not much. Ate. Sat in garden. Are some more. Popped to Waitrose.

CremeEggThief · 11/04/2020 20:16

Made breakfast and lunch and washed up.
Did a load of laundry (washed, dried and put away).
Hoovered downstairs.
Read outside for a lot of time.
What's App video called my sister and brother.
Went for a walk with DS.
Had pizza for dinner.

AlexaShutUp · 11/04/2020 20:19

Coffee with friend this morning via facetime.

Then long walk in the woods with dd.

Then pottering around the house tidying and cleaning, doing laundry etc, while listening to an audio book.

Nice, relaxing day overall.

TheWayOfTheWorld · 11/04/2020 20:21

Yet again fucking working whilst trying to look after my demanding DC. DH intensive care doctor on nights so trying to keep them quiet. Feel awful that yet again I haven't managed to take them for a walk/bike ride Sad

TheWayOfTheWorld · 11/04/2020 20:22

I've just had it up to here reading about the lovely time everyone else seems to be having - I get no time to myself and am doing everything badly. I shouldn't be on here - I have to put DC to bed and then carry on working for the next few hours.

Hoolajerry · 11/04/2020 20:58

Got up, had coffee and did a sudoku in the paper.
Took dogs for a 5km run
Hoovered downstairs and mopped
Put lunch outside (leftover salads, boiled eggs, crackers, cheese, prosciuttio)
Tidied up after lunch
Did washing
Did more work in the garden
Played on trampoline with dc
Made a water slide for dc
Had massive chinese takeaway
Currently watching High School musical until dc go to bed and then I'll write clues for their Easter hunt.
All in all a really nice day the likes of which we haven't had for a very long time.

waterlego · 11/04/2020 21:08

TheWayoftheWorld Sounds like you have it very tough indeed. I’m sorry 💐

Aurorie11 · 11/04/2020 21:10

Painted the fence for about 6 hours, I ache now

mogloveseggs · 11/04/2020 21:13

Housework
Clearing up the garden
Napping-dreadful night of broken 5 hour sleep
Eating
Walking
Sunbathing in the garden
Making Easter nests

mogloveseggs · 11/04/2020 21:14

Flowers to all having tough times

TheFairyCaravan · 11/04/2020 21:19

Did a load of washing and dried it on the line.
Crocheted hearts for hospitals and read in the sun.
Made lunch and dinner but it's only me and DH so it wasn't a hardship.

💐 to everyone who have had a tough day(s). I hope it gets better for you all x

EdersonsSmileyTattoo · 11/04/2020 21:25

Sitting in the back garden drinking San Miguel and listening to/watching the Haçienda live streams

We’ve had a great day!

peaceanddove · 11/04/2020 21:28

Our new blackout blind in our bedroom made our room so dark I didn't wake until 9.50am! We all had a lazy day relaxing in the garden listening to music. Realised we need to order new sun loungers as ours are knackered and we were all angling to get the only comfy one. Had a really tasty BBQ then the teens had an impromptu water fight and were soaking wet.

This evening the teens have been in their rooms and DH on his laptop working. I feasted my eyes on lush Harrison Ford in Temple of Doom then gave myself a mini facial. Just about to make a cup of tea then need to hide the eggs for our traditional Easter Egg hunt which the teens still insist on. Yet another lovely, peaceful day x

lauryloo · 11/04/2020 21:39

Day in the garden with dc

We are all exhausted now. I'm the only person still awake in the household. Dh and dc all snoring away

Fedupandpoor · 11/04/2020 21:47

Took the car to Halfords as the slightly squeaky brakes suddenly turned into screams since yesterday. Loitered around for 2 hours while they fixed it feeling like a criminal for being outside. Left with new brake pads and discs, a new wheel bearing and £320 poorer Sad

Confusedasusual78 · 11/04/2020 21:48

These are all such lovely accounts of peoples days, can I ask if the current situation enters your thoughts lots during the day/you have much anxiety?
I do constantly and would love some tips or to see why I’m so anxious and others are able to remain less so 🙈
Today we took Dd and the dog for a walk through and woods and to our beach (only around two other sets of couples there at a distance from us) came home, dd had her nap then played in the garden. Made homemade pizzas and swung on the hammock until time to put dd to bed..all lovely, but all full of the underlying anxiety, how I wish for normal life to resume, this feeling is exhsusting.

Yogawoogie · 11/04/2020 21:50

12 hour shift number 3 of 4.

BubblesBuddy · 11/04/2020 21:55

Tidied up flat we have offered to a NHS worker.

DH mowed the paddocks. We then walked around and inspected his work.

Photographed red kites and a great spotted woodpecker. Disturbed the deer.

Went shopping, cooked, and ate. Just having a very nice glass of Bordeaux.

Bitterglitter · 11/04/2020 21:56

Helped 3 and 5yr old DC make a mini mountain bike track in my (small urban garden)
Squealed like a princess at the billions of bugs under the wood pile that had to be relocated for said mountain bike track.
Spent an hour on the phone getting through to 111 when the 5yr old decided to bite through a freezer gel pack and taste some of it. Yes, the 5yr old not the 3yr old. Words were had.
Drank too much wine

FurryDogMother · 11/04/2020 21:56

@waterlego It's the west of Ireland :) And yep, it's lovely here - feeling very lucky to be where we are at the moment - staying at home isn't too difficult!

BubblesBuddy · 11/04/2020 21:57

No anxiety. Know of two people who have had the virus and now one who has it. None were hugely affected. Do worry about my DM as she’s very old but she’s ultra sensible.

Fenlandmountainrescue · 11/04/2020 22:06

I discovered our local bakery. Bought some rolls. My anxiety is getting too much to be in supermarkets so small local butcher’s, greengrocer’s and bakery a lifeline to me.

Learning French with Duolingo. I hope to eventually be as good as my Mum keeps telling me I am.

Witchend · 11/04/2020 22:21

I got up
I don't think I've done anything else notable today.Grin

SillyYak · 11/04/2020 22:24

Had a lie in, did an Easter egg hunt for DD, did some cleaning, sunbathed, did some more cleaning, potted up some tomatoes and dahlias I’ve been growing from seed, played board games in the garden with DH and DD, then we all made dinner listening to trashy pop music and dancing in the kitchen before eating it (chicken wings, chips, onion rings and blue cheese dip) in front of Indiana Jones (only got halfway through the film though—far too gory for Dd!).

waterlego · 11/04/2020 23:35

😁

Really lovely FurryDogMother. We feel lucky as we have a lovely garden and live a short walk from a gorgeous beach, but what we don’t have is a view!

Confused I suffer with anxiety in general but have been feeling surprisingly (and uncharacteristically) calm through this lockdown. My medication helps, but I also find yoga hugely helpful.
