Daughters (in their 20’s) and I will go to York or Leeds for a shopping trip, possibly overnight stay.

We will go for a lovely meal out

We will get a Big Mac Meal

We’ll go for a spa day

I will drive the 80m to visit my parents. I feel bad because they are in their 80’s, mum is disabled now and they are lonely. Can’t wait to visit them.

The above are not necessarily in any order 😁

Drive to my mum and hug her.

middleager · 03/04/2020 20:35

I'm going dancing! And to a gig.

Watching TOTP 1989 and takes me back to a carefree time aged 15.

FudgeBrownie2019 · 03/04/2020 20:35

I'm going to pack the car and take the DC and the dogs to the beach for a week.

I'm going to visit my family and friends and hug them so tight they can't breathe.

I'm going to go for a long, leisurely walk on my own.

Sirzy · 03/04/2020 20:36

Give my nephews a big hug first!

Then a nice family day out followed by a meal together

NeutralJanet · 03/04/2020 20:37

Eat in a restaurant.
Go for a Primark shopping spree.
Go swimming.
Spend the Costa gift voucher that's languishing at the bottom of my handbag.

Duchessofblandings · 03/04/2020 20:37

Hold my grandson.

NothingIsWrong · 03/04/2020 20:39

Spend a couple of months helping clear up the inevitable chaos at work. Then I'm taking a month of parental leave, taking the kids out of school (fuck fines) and doing a road trip to see all our relatives.

Twospaniels · 03/04/2020 20:45

Oh and husband and I will go away in the caravan we just bought but haven’t had a chance to use yet

Get a convocation from the court for the divorce judgement - fingers crossed.
Had a date end Feb but postponed as stbxh's barrister was ill.

Windyatthebeach · 03/04/2020 20:48

If all my many dc make it through this I will never complain about the mess and noise!!. (like I am now!!)
And will enjoy life more with dh and my dc...
Sometimes we forgot how blessed we are...

yearinyearout · 03/04/2020 20:52

Go and see my parents, then book a holiday cottage at the seaside for a week. Hopefully near a pub with a nice beer garden.

Notmyrealname855 · 03/04/2020 20:54

See people!! Just that really... and have a nice meal out!

Also vote carefully

amusedbush · 03/04/2020 20:55

Get my brows waxed Grin

Go for a drive in the sun with the window down.

Go into the city centre and wander round the shops.

Get the KFC I’ve been dreaming about Grin

Meet up with friends for drinks.

Batmanandbobbin · 03/04/2020 21:12

Go and spend the day out with my partner and dc. Just the local big hall. I want to play football with them, run around playing tig and let them know life is okay again.

I’d like to take youngest ds to see partners nephew. They miss each other.

And go and drink coffee in a garden centre with dp.

CigarsofthePharoahs · 03/04/2020 21:13

Go out for a nice lunch with my mum.
Send DH and the children off on a camping trip. Before lockdown they'd planned to go to Devon for a week, starting tomorrow. I'd have a whole week to myself!
Sigh.
Actually have ds2's birthday party.

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 03/04/2020 21:20

Wander over to see my friends and hug them

Get a hair cut and go for a massage

Onedaymyluckwillchange · 03/04/2020 21:25

Just to say this is the best post I've seen, thank you OP. It's great to see optimism and not the usual scaremongering and hysteria I've been seeing on here constantly. I plan to have a big family bbq and also ask my 4 year old DS where he would like to go for a day trip and take him wherever he wants (with a McDonalds on the way home).

Gingaaarghpussy · 03/04/2020 21:26

Have a coffee with youngest ds.
Listen to all the idiots coming out of the pub I live next to.
Get an online shop from sainsbury's.
Sit in my local churchyard and people watch.

Atla · 03/04/2020 21:28

I'm going to go and see my mum and dad and my sister and her new baby. We will all go and sit in a nice beer garden, have a lovely lunch and let all the kids play together.

Jessikka · 03/04/2020 21:29

My first baby is due in 2 weeks. First grandchild for my parents too.

As soon as this lockdown is over and we can safely socialise again I will be introducing my baby to its grandparents and cherishing the moment ❤

DawnFawn · 03/04/2020 21:29

Get laid!

gingerninja99 · 03/04/2020 21:30

We are holding a immediate family pool party & BBQ for the 4 little ones who will miss out on our little birthday tea parties over the next few months. It's giving me something nice to focus on and plan Smile
