Daughters (in their 20’s) and I will go to York or Leeds for a shopping trip, possibly overnight stay.

We will go for a lovely meal out

We will get a Big Mac Meal

We’ll go for a spa day

I will drive the 80m to visit my parents. I feel bad because they are in their 80’s, mum is disabled now and they are lonely. Can’t wait to visit them.

The above are not necessarily in any order 😁

Buy a car and have adventures.

Find a fwb and have lots of 'benefits' Grin

Get a gardener, plumber, handyman and all the rest I need to sort this place out properly!

I'm also inspired to change career direction. Have been having useful reflective moments during this downtime.

Go back to the gym - I'd only just got into the habit before all this started.

Go swimming, go for a walk on the beach, get some car repairs done, see colleagues.

Hohohole · 10/04/2020 19:03

Drop the kids off with their grandparents and go to the pub.

samandpoppysmummy · 10/04/2020 19:14

Invite lots of friends over for a barbecue and pool party. I feel guilty having our lovely pool and not being able to share it at the moment.
Drive down to Devon to see my family.
Get my hair cut (and my son's hair!).
Join WeightWatchers 🤣 I've gained 9 pounds in three weeks and it's only going to get worse the longer we're in lockdown. I eat too much chocolate and too much drink gin 😳

Friends and family where I’m living now with DParents
Book holiday to visit relatives abroad though I expect that will be quite a while
Church
Gym
Go to work - wfh isn’t the same
Try to make more friends where I actually live

Samcro · 10/04/2020 19:17

Spend time with dd, she is severely disabled and in a residential place, so will have lots and lots of cuddles and lots more. See ds, he only lives about amile away but haven't seen him or his fiancé for ages, so more hugss.
Then just go to the seafront and walk and sit and walk. Just imagine it.

Take DS22 on the trip that I'd promised him this Easter... He made sure that I knew it wasn't particularly 'cool' to go away with your DM, but agreed if it was 'very interesting' - we were thinking Marrakech🐪... And get a proper 'Industrial Strength' pedicure for my hoovesConfused And hug everyone I haven't been able to for a while...

IceCreamAndCandyfloss · 10/04/2020 19:20

Book a few days away
Visit friends and family
Go for a meal out
Have a shopping spree
Get hair done
Catch up on vet visits etc that we haven’t been able to do.

Elllicam · 10/04/2020 19:21

Go to see my mum, I think this is the longest I’ve ever gone without seeing her.

Mother87 · 10/04/2020 19:22

But, like other PP's - have also enjoyed pottering around at home, cooking nice stuff without rushing, no alarm clocks, relaxing around the house in a way we haven't all done in forever...

lorn195 · 10/04/2020 19:22

I have a bottle of 2015 claret from high grove and a bottle of bubbly from Camel valley which my husband and I will be drinking, then at the first chance visit our favourite Saturday afternoon cafe and buy a large Cabernet Sauvignon and a bottle of Korev (Cornish lager) for my husband. X

bellinisurge · 10/04/2020 19:27

Go to my hometown by the sea and probably get something in my eye when I paddle in the water.

LightACandleHoney · 10/04/2020 19:37

(Hopefully) proceed with our long awaited house purchase and move out of our (tiny) rental house.

Walk all day long. I used to walk and run a lot. Can’t run at the minute due to some injuries but would love to be able to take lengthy walks by the sea in peace.

Find a new job seeing as my dick of a boss ended my temporary contract when schools closed despite the education authority covering all salaries inc temp and term time only staff, and the fact that they will still need the role covered as soon as schools re-open.
