Found a pube growing halfway down my thigh!

I was doing a quick topiary check after my shower today and was distracted by an offending hair that had decided to grow halfway down my thigh Confused wtf. Obviously I plucked the offending hair straight out, briefly contemplated giving the rest of it a trim and decided I'd rather have a cup of tea instead. I'll deal with the knicker beard another day. With 12 weeks of shielding I need to pace myself on the chores list. Is this an age thing, migrating pubes? Do they go south along with other bodily items? Small mercy it wasn't grey I suppose.

🤣 41 and odd hairs springing up here & there I’m afraid...but actually came on thread to say thank you for making me giggle...needed it😁😆

enjoyingscience · 03/04/2020 22:54

Mine started a mass migration in my late twenties. I now have a decent population on the backs of my thighs.

I only hope I live long enough for them to migrate far enough to meet the hairs which now also grow on my big toes.

Elieza · 03/04/2020 23:02

Ha ha ha, great thread. It’s not a stray pube it’s a stray eyelash hair.

See how that sounds nicer? Even though it’s not, grrr!

I have the bastards on my neck, chin and every other place they shouldnt be, yet at the same time my actual hair on my head is falling out again. WTF!Grin

ADreamOfGood · 03/04/2020 23:09

I found an arm hair a couple of days ago that was five inches long! Confused

jmh740 · 03/04/2020 23:35

I have some on my thigh a few on my nipple and one on the side of my left boob in the middle of nowhere

allinit2gether · 03/04/2020 23:36

My husband suddenly plucked a sneaky chin hair out of my face today. I didn't know it was there and rather than being embarrassed I was grateful. It's a slippery slope op.

PickAChew · 03/04/2020 23:37

That's where they migrate to, leaving you with clown wig pubes.

Lindy2 · 03/04/2020 23:45

clown wig pubes

I'm actually snorting I'm laughing so much at that. 😂

Lynda07 · 03/04/2020 23:48

It's just a leg hair! Run your razor over all of your legs while you're lathered up in the shower. Do it every day and you'll never see such a hair again.

.......
What are doing examining thighs, boobs and nipples in the middle of nowhere? Is that essential exercise?

UnaCorda · 03/04/2020 23:53

They all gradually migrate down your legs until you're pube free...

...and have feet like a hobbit.

JigsawsAreCool · 03/04/2020 23:58

I have ovarian insufficiency/failure at 35 so I'm nearing menopause.

I have massive black neck hairs/thigh hairs and belly button hairs.

The other day I had an arm hair growing 3x longer than all the others. I took a photo of it and sent it to my mner friend on fb. Obviously.

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/04/2020 00:01

I just did a Lumea on my upper legs today. Good job I’m flexible Confused If you let them grow long enough, you’ll get pubes all way down your thighs 🤷‍♀️

DrinkFeckArseGirls · 04/04/2020 00:02

If you take hair growth supplements (like me) that’s what you can expect Hmm

jmh740 · 04/04/2020 00:13

Lynda07 not really essential oh is shielding in the spare room and staying 2m away, so I might just see how long I can grow them 😁

Stressheadme123 · 04/04/2020 00:19

Socially distancing pubes and fanny combovers 🤣

Then you can take a photo and show them to us. You could even put them in rollers! Er....I hope they're not grey.

stellabelle · 04/04/2020 04:03

A lot of women have them all down their thighs - a lot of it is related to your ethnic origins . I've seen every variation of pubic hairs in my working life ( nurse) and believe me, pubes grow in all areas from navels to knees.

ImNewHere123 · 04/04/2020 04:52

This is the kind of thread I need in my life. No doom and gloom. Just honest pube stories

EnthusiasmIsDisturbed · 04/04/2020 05:03

Could they be socially distancing from each other?. Grin

MN is great at times

Years ago I used to work as a beauty therapist and many women have pubic hair on their thighs and many a patch of hair on the back of their thighs above the knee area that the hair is thicker almost like pubic hair. I started getting this from around 40 it’s weird maybe it’s getting ready for when my fanny drops but why at the back and not front Confused.

billy1966 · 04/04/2020 07:24

About 6 months ago I felt something under my chin and couldn't fugure it out. Went to investigate and it was nearly an inch long, a grey chin hairShock

I couldn't believe it.

I do look after myself, so all i could think of if it didn't grow overnight.....I am going blind.

I plucked...it was strong and it returned twice..but i was ready and waiting...and then it happily never returned.

I have installed one of those magnifying mirrors in a very bright spot in my ensuite as part of the fight back....but ....unfortunately is a whole different ball game of horrors.

Buyer's remorse etc..

StarlightLady · 04/04/2020 07:41

Worry not! This is a minor issue. I regularly get one pop out of my forehead, slightly off centre. It pops out when I’m asleep in the hope l won’t notice. It grows at lightening speed in the hope it can entwine my whole body! Fight back!

Occasional, leg support comrades pop out but they are in a lower growth league. Actual pubes have been banned since my late teens (40s plus now), they surrender to the razor in the shower every morning.

I think l’m going to get a tattoo, “All hair banned except on head” so these blighters know where they stand!

I’m amazed this thread has got this far without the “Its great to be hairy” brigade stepping in.

SistemaAddict · 04/04/2020 10:43

My mum in the last ten years has found her eyebrow hairs thickening and growing long and curly. I call them eyebrow pubes and pluck them for her along with the odd chin hair. I noticed my brother also has eyebrow pubes. It could be worse I suppose-you could have ear pubes and know nothing about them unless someone told you.

I'm all in favour of the bush, but it needs to stay in place. No migrating to other areas. Clues in the name hairs-pubic hair. Pubic. Not thigh, not knees, not eyebrows.

Bodies are weird things Bercows. Postmenopause, exact opposite of your mums experience for me. Eyebrows nearly gone, underarm hair gone, legs and arms hairless, a few scraggly pubes left. Hair on head though seems just as it ever was. Fingers crossed it stays that wayHmm

StarlightLady · 04/04/2020 12:30

We shall fight them on the legs,
we shall fight them on the armpits,
we shall fight in them round our fanny,
we shall never surrender!
