Karen Millen basket..... £350 (40% off everything, I've saved a fortune!)
Amazon basket.......£190
Monsoon basket......£380 (in my defence, there is a dress for DD in there and its 30% off everything, again I have saved loads!)
House porn basket.............£42.5 Million

Thank fuck my debit card will laugh hysterically if I tried to pay for any of these.

I am sweating haribo
I am saying fuck with gay abandon around my children.
I think chips can count as vegetables and also dairy as long as you make a butty with real butter on it

I need someone to do the adulting. Since I finished work (pub manager so the first to be furloughed) I'm a mess :o:o

You shouldn't be unsupervised if you are going to come on here and brag about your unnecessary extravaganza which people will have to put themselves at risk to deliver Biscuit

Rocketmam · 01/04/2020 23:58

I came here to say 'because I still sometimes stick a fork in the toaster to remove stubborn crumpets'.

Oh and 'sometimes I accidentally microwave metal.'

Jonb6 · 01/04/2020 23:59

@ffswhatsnext ffs lighten up, op says she has no intention of buying the stuff . . .

mollibu · 02/04/2020 00:02

@ffswhatsnext might want to reread the original post Grin

JudgeRindersMinder · 02/04/2020 00:03

@ffswhatnext, did you actually READ the OP or did you just want to feel good about yourself?

Sidge · 02/04/2020 00:07

I’m such a muppet. I read your OP and was thinking “why are you buying so many baskets and jeez some of them are REALLY expensive...”

GreenTulips · 02/04/2020 00:10

I put the sugar canister in the fridge
I have no idea what the day is
I’ve sent a delivery by accident to elderly parents .... and can’t reorder as out of stock

Complete nit wit

WatcherintheRye · 02/04/2020 00:11

ffs It's. a. joke.

Op, you forgot 'lighthearted' for the hard of humour Grin

DailyKegelReminder · 02/04/2020 00:14

I too wondered what a Karen Millen basket was.

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/04/2020 00:19

I read your OP and was thinking “why are you buying so many baskets and jeez some of them are REALLY expensive...”

THat made me genuinely laugh out loud!!

Yes it was a joke, well the bit about the online shopping was. I havent been paid in a month (weekly paid) so I cant buy anything!

And I use forks to get crumpets out too, stubborn bastards that they are

OP posts:
SouthWestmom · 02/04/2020 00:22

I wondered about the expensive baskets as well.

And to be fair I could really do with an unnecessary extravaganza right now

Amicompletelyinsane · 02/04/2020 00:25

I put my potatoes in the freezer! Oddly enough they didn't survive the experience. I'm losing the plot. Love my family freshly but omg I need some space

Mumdiva99 · 02/04/2020 00:26

I understoid the basket. It took me a moment to work out house porn though....in my defence it's late....but I was thinking you meant porn the house could share....😆 I was wondering how that worked.....

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/04/2020 00:32

:o:o

An 8 year old and two teens here with me, not sure porn for the whole house is a good idea!

IHaveBrilloHair · 02/04/2020 00:40

I bought a £50 hoover today!
No baskets though.

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/04/2020 00:41

OK I need help.

I am googling "Expensive baskets" :o

Give yourself a break, Pyongy. These are difficult times, you'll find a balance eventually. Your kids will look back on it all with great affection!

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/04/2020 00:43

I've found it!!!

$1.2 Million when it was sold in 2017

PS: I look on Rightmove. I thought I might move house, my son too needs a bigger place so I look for both of us. Unfortunately the finances we were hoping would be in place by now, no longer are because of the current crisis so we'll be going nowhere :-). Doesn't hurt to look though.....

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/04/2020 00:45

Well they're loving the chips! Thanks @Lynda07

OP posts:
LonginesPrime · 02/04/2020 00:47

Yes, I was wondering about all the baskets too - I thought they might be like super-fancy stair baskets or something...

Hadenoughofitall441 · 02/04/2020 01:10

I’ll raise you OP
Mand m basket - £100
ASOS - 180
Foot asylum -500
H&M - 79
Sportsdirect - 150
Amazon - 300
Very - 87
Argos -50

Most of the stuff stays like that and has been like that for months, things get added and removed on a daily basis. Wishful thinking on my part. Although today is my birthday already recieved £150 in my bank from some relatives living away from us. So will partake in little spending.

PyongyangKipperbang · 02/04/2020 01:12

I'm envious but enjoy!
